This is my first ever mechanical keyboard. I am not a gamer and I use it mainly for programming. My previous keyboard was logitech MK345 which died after 5 years of use I find this keyboard quality is top notch and typing satisfaction is way better than any membrane keyboards. I went for Green switch which is clicky. Initially my fingers started to ache a bit but after couple of days my fingers got used to the new force required for the key press and I don’t feel any fatigue or finger pain while typing now. I would have liked a low profile keyboard but currently this is the best option available in india right now at this price point for my specific requirements. I have programmed some of the keys as a shortcut to open the apps and websites that I use frequently which I have found very useful and the RGB lighting effect is very cool. The other options I considered were 1. Logitech Mx Mechanical – ridiculously overpriced 2. Keychron – no full size layout available in india
Points to Note:- 1. I have bought this keyboard to be used in my home office set up that has 32 inch monitor and a big desk so this keyboard blends well with my set up. 2. This keyboard is not portable at all. please look elsewhere if you are looking for a keyboard that you want to carry often. 3. Battery life is Okay. i.e I get about 3 to 4 days with moderate usage with RCB lighting @50% brightness. once you make it a habit to charge the keyboard every 2-3 days, then it should not be an issue. Over all I am happy with the purchase and I got a good deal for this keyboard @14k.

Seller sent a factory seal broken and damaged item first. Then the replacement was a new product. Everything works nicely and I like the keyboard. Initially the volume control rotary encoder did not work properly. Later I cleaned with electronic conact cleaner. Now works like a charm. Some keys do not produce clicky clack sound. Had problem with BT connectivity. After few restarts of KB and my TAB, it works without problem. Croma effect works only for pc. Only breathing effect for BT connections. Battery backup is good. Overall I like the KB

Had to return If the keyboard is being charged, wireless functions stop – can’t connect via Bluetooth or dongle. Defeats the purpose of buying wireless keyboard. You have to run a cable to your computer in between can’t switch devices etc

I bought this to serve as a gaming keyboard. I myself am not a PC gamer and am a laptop user, so used to membrane keyboard with low travel and softer feel.
Feel-wise this keyboard is excellent. The feedback is on point and conclusive, and the amount of travel is comfortable when gaming. The RGB is bright and evenly lights up the keyboard, plus the pad that comes with the keyboard ensures longer gaming sessions don’t put undue stress on the wrist.
Now the drawbacks: the keyboard is pretty loud (clicky loud) and when typing without headphones/audio is prominent. The amount of key travel, although great for gaming, is less so for general use. The force and depth to which the key must be depressed can throw me off that alone has caused a few mistypes. Unlike some other reviewers have noted, the sensitivity of the keyboard isn’t bad, especially compared to standard laptop keyboards and I find this keyboard easy to use.

The yellow linear switches have really low actuation point and they literally get activated even with slightest touch without any feedback of the incorrect press. I read a lot of praise online specially for gaming however I wasn’t comfortable with this experience so had to return the product. Otherwise the keyboard build quality is solid, I wish they have more switch options like the tactile one to give some feedback of a press.

Make sure you check the dimensions before purchase as the keyboard may be rather “thick” in size. Also, I was hesitant on making this purchase at the beginning because I am primarily using MacOS. I wasn’t sure if it would work with my Mac (Catalina version 10.15.5). And so I went to check other models but it just wasn’t what I wanted – backlit keys so that I could do work in the dark with the lights on. The information on how well this would work on a Mac seemed pretty limited on the internet.
At the same time, I didn’t just want the keys to be lit from the back … but that the alphabets and symbols lit up nicely too so that I can see what I am typing in the dark … and so I decided to go for it despite the lack of detailed information.
The item came within 2 days or placing the order and it works perfectly fine with my Mac mini. It connects through a USB cable that’s provided and the padding attaches itself “magnetically” to the bottom of the keyboard – it provides a pretty good deal of cushioning and I hope that it would last a long time!
After downloading the software (Synapse) from Razer’s website that has been customised for the Mac, I found that it could work and I could customise the colour of the keys on my keyboard to my preferences! Some users have warned me about the compatibility of Synapse with MacOS but so far it works fine for me.
I am happy and delighted!
Also, it can be quite a “noisy” keyboard … so I wouldn’t recommend it being used in a quiet office. For me, I love the “clickiness” of it and I am hoping that this would be a durable keyboard! Hope that this review helps the Mac users out there!
