Very good upgrade over my previous experience with membrane keyboards.

Excellent for gaming on pc titles like csgo, cod, apex, fortnite, etc.

Ergonomics is also upto the requirements for a good gaming setup and the comfort level is top notch as you won’t get tired using it for hours.

This keyboard has kailh brown switches which is also tactile and highly responsive in games, as well as typing which is also excellent.

Only con: Bright white led is also good but lighting below function keys (for media and other extra controls) is not provided. I personally expect this on this 6k rupees price point.

The media could not be loaded.

So this is my second mechanical keyboard after Cosmic Byte GK 16 – That one became dysfunctional after 12 months because a few keys started to have ghosting issues and other keys gathered moisture inside their switches and I had to press those keys very badly for the text to appear on the screen. So I decided to give it up and go for a keyboard from an established brand like Logitec. I will list the pros and cons of this G413 TKL SE. I have attached a typing demo video, and some pictures as well.

    Pros:

    1) Small form factor. Takes up very little space.

    2) Simple lighting scheme. White colour with three brightness levels. White colour is all you will need to see the keys clearly. RGB keys become boring after a while.

    3) Brown switches. This is my first Brown switch keyboard. My previous keyboard was Blue switch. Now I like the Brown switches better because the typing experience is more or less the same as the Blue switches, but Brown switches are quieter/muffled compared to the irritating and disturbing “clicky” sound from the Blue switches – I just now realized this because I can personally compare the two. So Brown switches are better than the Blue switches. Brown switches are my new favourite.

    Cons:

    1) The function keys (F1-F12) have 12 useful shortcuts assigned to them, but their labels are printed on the sides and not translucent. The main labels on the top of the keycaps are translucent so that the LED light can pass through. I wish these function-shortcut labels were translucent like the main labels because the printed labels are not prominent and are hard to focus on easily.

    2) Price: I know this has nothing to do with the keyboard itself, however, Logitec could have priced it a little lower – 5,495 rupees is a little too much, but I still went for this brand because I’m hoping this will serve me for at least 4 years, unlike the previous Cosmic Byte one which was properly functional for only 1 year.

Within 2 days of getting the keyboard the wire connector started to wear out exposing the wires a little , this needs to be fixed as the price and quality do not match other than that it is a really good keyboard and gets the job done.

After 6 months of usage, the cable started breaking at the keyboard end and it’s not detachable/replaceable.

After using the keyboard for a few MONTHS, The keyboard is super sturdy and very tactile. The building quality of keyboard is also good. The connection wire is NOT OF LOGITECH quality. The wires have started to tear off within almost 7 months of use. The image is an example of multiple tears on the connection wire.

Upgrading to this from Logitech G213 feels like a much positive change. G413 SE has 10 key roll over (though its mentioned 6 key rollover in official site but I tested for N key roll over and can get 10 keys easily) which is very good for gamers and I can definitely feel the difference in game compared to the G213 (which has 6-key roll over). Typing Sound is almost same (more enjoyable) compared to the non mechanical Logitech G213 keyboard and feels much less pain in fingers than G213 in fast typing.

Definitely a good first mechanical keyboard for anyone coz of the build quality and low key sounds. But if someone who is not into TKL layout, they can consider the old G413 model which has much premium Logitech’s own mechanical keys and USB passthrough.

The keys aren’t exactly like Cherry – there’s some feel to them and not clicky, so it’s good balance between being tactile and quiet. Neither, but not too much of either.

Brightness even at lowest setting is too bright for me. Also the keycaps are transparent, which means if the LEDs go out you’re effectively blind. I like to keep the lights off 90% of the time and translucent keycaps help there, but this keyboard doesn’t have that option. And there’s no memory, so every time you power up the brightness setting has to be tweaked (always down to minimum for me).

Hopefully it lasts a bit more than my HP GK100s, both of which died after the warranty period was over. I think they feed that into the keyboard.

Its been few days using this keyboard . Some highlights would be,
    – Key press feedback is great (brown switches)
    – Not noisy ( based on personal opinion it may vary)

Didn’t find any cons, will update if find any.
Overall experience is great and is expensive offcourse. If your budget is under 6k then definitely you can go for this with no doubt.
