This controller doesn’t feel particularly heavy/solid but the sticks and buttons are very smooth. I appreciate that the cord is separate – cords are often the first point of failure on a controller so having it modular is great.
The Sonic graphics are cute and if you’re a fan of the franchise you will certainly enjoy this controller. It’s a good, basic controller and it does the job necessary.
It works with PC well and even shows up as “Sonic Controller” when you first plug it in. Cute!

I ordered this because we seem to be always going through controllers and with Sonic on this one, it seemed like a good one to add to the collection. Pretty straightforward review, it’s a controller that works as well as expected, the buttons are tight, and the thumb sticks responsive. The ten-foot cord makes this controller even more handy; you can sit back and comfortably play games without having to be right on top of your Xbox or computer. The fact that they did use the newer controllers with the USB-C port is really nice; we have a couple that still use the older mini-USB connectors which don’t hold as well and tend to wear out. Finally, the Sonic designed paint job looks really good, its crisp and clear and really pops which the kids should like when they come to visit. Overall, I am pleased with the controller, but I did take one star off because it is a little bit higher than I like to pay for wired controllers – even ones with cool designs on them.

Este es el segundo control que compro de la marca PowerA. En términos simples, es cómodo y el diseño me encantó y llegó en perfectas condiciones, sin embargo, tengo que señalar que este control se siente algo frágil y deja una sensación de que en cualquier momento lo vas a estropear en medio de una partida, en especial si es un juego de disparos.

Echoing what another reviewer said, this is my first Xbox controller that wasn’t straight from Microsoft. There’s a clear feel to this one versus Microsoft’s — this one is lighter and made of a cheaper plastic (not necessarily a bad thing), making it easy to hold in my hands, especially long periods of time. This is also my first wired controller, and given how many batteries I typically go through with those, plus this one having a 10ft cord, I think I might fully convert to wired. There are a lot of other great features as well for those who need more advanced button mapping layouts, but it’s honestly a pretty good second-tier choice.
