Build quality is pretty nice. I like the mouldings, they’re all super smooth finish and fit together well.
The mic snaps into a rocker switch, there’s an audible little click when it turns on and off. Mic worked just fine with a moment of figuring out the right place to have it.
The aluminium is nicely used too. It’s an accent across the whole headset. Again, nicely made.
The earpads are nicely shaped, soft, pretty comfortable and feels pretty good quality.
The cables are all flat. They have a shaped aux on one end that fits the molding of the headset and an unnecessarily shaped end to plug into your controller. The volume control on the lead feels cheap and pretty nasty.
Dolby Atmos so far had been a disappointment, it seems to muddy an already fairly flat sound. I ended up turning it off for the time being but no doubt I’ll see I like it any better soon.
The sound is… fine. It’s not awe inspiring nor is it a disappointment… fine. There’s no terrible highs and hollow lows, they all seem to float in without offence, no blur, no screech, all… fine.
Update: so after a while using them: the pads on the ears have started to separate, can’t get the material back in.
The mic is awful. No direction at all, it just picks up everything, utterly useless for conference calls, which as you might imagine the have been used for in the past few months.
Also the lead has started to be faulty, quite often anything I use this on says the mic isn’t working.
Dropped a star because they’re just not as good as they look.

An sich haben die Kopfhörer einen klasse Klang, das einzige was mich stört und deswegen auch einen Stern Abzug ist das die oben am Kabel wo es gesteckt wird schon einen wackelkontakt hat wurde es gerne umtauschen weiß nur nicht an wenn ich mich da wenden muss bzw wie ich mit dem Verkäufer in Verbindung trete.

Headphones were working great but within the first week of owning them the latch that keeps the microphone up and muted broke leaving me to always have it unmuted or hold it in place when needing to talk to someone. The sound quality was amazing and by far my best headphones for that however after the 6th month the material holding in the foam padding slipped out from the glue or whatever was holding it in place. I have attempted to glue it in place since then. This messed up the audio and made it sound almost metallic and worse quality than a phone call. Would recomend buying if the main reason was for noise quality as it creates a very good seal however treat these with immaculate care otherwise they wont last a year.

I brought the rig 500 pros in replacement of my razor headset and suprised how much better quality they were, excellent surround sound, clearer chat quality, even with the dolby atmos just sets them off, i give 5 stars for this product and recomend them for any gamer like myself, they are well made never slip of your head and there so comfortable i am so happy and glad to buy this product.
