This unit is great.
It has the ability to fold up for staring but I don’t see how that really is possible with the pedals in the way.
But the stand is sturdy with the G29. It has adjustable feet so it wont rock on your floor and you can buy lockable wheels for it.
the only set back is there is no keyboard/mouse tray attachment made for this unit.

Ich hab den Wheelstand für mein Thrustmaster t248 gekauft und nachdem ich ein paar Schrauben neu gekauft hab (Anm.: Schrauben vom Lenkrad, nicht vom Wheelstand) hat auch alles gepasst.
Die Möglichkeit den Lenkradständer umzulegen und mittels Schnellverschluss zu befestigen fand ich recht praktisch um das gesamte Ensemble unter meinem Lastschrank zu verstauen, wenn ich es nicht verwende.
Der einzig echte Kritikpunkt ist, dass das Ganze, trotz seines recht beachtlichen Gewichts, egal ob auf Teppich oder Fließen/Parkett einfach nicht standfest bleibt. Gut auf Teppich schon mal gar nicht, aber auch auf glatten Oberflächen. Ich habe zuhausen einen reinen Betonboden mit Gummiversiegelung…. Also quasi das flachste und glatteste was man haben kann. Trotzdem hab ich den ganzen Wheelstand immer wieder von mir weggeschoben, wenn ich mal richtig in die Eisen gegangen bin. Gelöst hab ich das ganze Problem ebenso einfach wie unprofessionell, indem ich einfach 2 Schnüre um den Rahmen des Wheelstand geknotet hab, die ich dann um die Füße meines Sessels gelegt hab. So blieb alles da wo es hinsollte und nachdem ich die Schnüre einmal richtig in der Länge eingestellt hatte, hatte der Wheelstand immer direkt den perfekten Abstand zum Sessel.
Das Gelbe vom Ei ist so eine etwas improvisierte Lösung zwar nicht, aber ich wüsste ehrlich gesagt wirklich nicht wie man das anders lösen wollte außer das Ding direkt am Boden festzudübeln. Was natürlich niemand machen wird, weil es ja der Sinn des Teils ist, es bei Bedarf aufzubauen und danach wieder wegzupacken.
Fazit: Nach den 1-2 kleinen Anpassungen war das ganze wirklich ein richtig gutes Einsteiger Setup für die ersten Runden im Amateur-Online-Rennen. Der Wheelstand ist stabil und gibt auch nicht nach wenn man mal etwas energischer am Lenkrad zieht.

It’s foldable and relatively easy to move, although heavy due to solid construction. There’s a little bit of flex in it, but not much. Should suit any chair or even couch. Overall, I think it’s great value and suitable for those not looking to have a full race rig setup all the time.

They make annoying mechanical metallic noise. Apart from this they are fine.

So I am a university student that has a desk at my residence, but nothing at home. This wheel stand fits in my closet at home PERFECTLY! It is very strong and durable! My only complaint is that the pads on the floor wore out too quickly, but thankfully I had a floor mat I could use. Overall great product
