ThrustMaster T128 Force Feedback Racing Wheel with Magnetic Pedals, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC

Funziona perfettamente sin dal primo avvio, per chi passa da un volante senza force feedback ad uno con force feedback sentirà molta differenza e lo consiglio se volete fare un upgrade di volante, il force feedback e un ritorno di forza che si sente nel volante che vi fa percepire tutto quello che accade in pista, dopo il trauma iniziale vi abituerete però se non siete amanti di queste cose e vi interessa divertirvi senza spendere molto allora rimanete con la corono senza force feedback. Per chi usa il pad lo consiglio ma in generale consiglio un volante perchè è nettamente meglio del pad. Va su tutti i giochi che supportano il volante ma se giocate a f1 23 ce un bug del gioco che fa sparire il force feedback e se vi siete abituati sarà una tortura. La pedaliera ottima vi consiglio di ripulire periodicamente quei gommini sotto perchè con la polvere fanno scivolare la pedaliera anzichè tenerla ferma, dovete essere docili nell utilizzarla perchè ha la tendenza a “ballare” e spostarsi. Sono passato da un serafim r1+ al t128 e mi sto trovando davvero bene, ottima la disposizione dei tasti e ottima qualità. L unico volante di questa fascia che può competere è il t248. Per chi è indeciso tra questo e il g29 consiglio questo.

 In this review I will explain my personal and honest opinion with the Thrustmaster T128 and discuss features it has as well as going over everything that comes in the box and see if this Steering Wheel fits you. (For a short description skip to the end)

What’s in the box ? :
The Thrustmaster T128 comes in a big box (mine came a bit damaged as seen in the photos attached) with the included Pedals, Cables and of course the Steering Wheel. Right out the box I was really impressed with the quality of the wheel, it is stable and solid, might not be as comfortable as other high end Steering Wheels.
BONUS ! As a Bonus along the other things in the box, because I ordered the XBOX version of the Steering Wheel, I got a code for a month FREE of Xbox Ultimate to start playing and testing the Wheel right away!

Setup :
As a PC user setting this up was a bit confusing at first, but as seen in the manual you will first have to download the Drivers of the Steering Wheel at ” https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/product/t128x-en/ ” then as you scroll down you will see the “drivers” tab, click on it download and do the setup, restart your pc and boom.

Steering Wheel Control Panel : This part was one of my favourites. As you download the drivers you will be greeted with a control panel where you can customize and control the Steering Wheel’s force feedback force, test the force feedback and as well as sensitivity and other things up to your liking.

And finally the Steering Wheel :
I used to have another cheap Steering Wheel that did not include the Force Feedback system so switching to this felt really premium, All the buttons and Paddle Shifters work accordingly, The steering wheel reacts perfectly in games like Forza Horizon 5.
+ The force feedback and the vibrations are amazing and strong, they feel real the way you try to control the Wheel as it’s going left, right trying to push your hands back. (In the video above I tested the Force Feedback)
+ Quality of it is mostly high quality plastic, Isn’t necessarily comfortable neither uncomfortable, it’s a sweet spot.
– Although the Paddle Shifters might be a bit too loud when you use them.

In conclusion there is nothing wrong with the Steering wheel works as intended for such a low price, is really stable, decently comfortable and high quality with a nice design!

Pedals :
Now the Pedals will be a big reason why I had to give the review 1 less star. As everyone mentioned they are kinda bad in some ways.
+ They are pretty comfortable and feel realistic, you have to use a bit of force though.
– They aren’t the most stable, if you do not find a wall where you can secure the Pedals, they will slide away as you press them.
– There is a dead-zone of about 10%, meaning that when you slightly press either Pedals, they do not react at all. You would have to press just a tiny bit more until they actually start working.
– The cable isn’t the longest and this might be annoying for some.

In conclusion, the Pedals are not really a problem for me apart from the dead-zone of 10% where the pedals are a bit weird but you will get used to it. As long as you have a wall to secure the Pedals (as seen in the photo above) they won’t be a BIG problem.

Clamp :
The Clamp works as intended, the Steering Wheel is easy to install because of this, just put the support, screw it in and done! The Clamp isn’t too strong so it won’t break your table or leave a dent at all while remaining stable and put.
+ Stable, Does not leave dents, Easy to install.

In the end it’s your decision whether or not this Steering Wheel suits you, In my personal opinion it is AMAZING for starters. For being such a low price while performing the same as High End Steering Wheels, is pretty nice.
The Steering Wheel itself has no problems and works perfectly only the Pedals can be a bit of a problem for some, and the dead-zone of 10% will be annoying if you’re trying to drive slow and slightly push the Pedals. In the end it brings a lot of fun and you will not regret it !

Wheel is good, pedal is garbage, gives leg pain and brake pedal has no feel whatsoever. Ok for casual use. Wheel ffb seems just adequate at 100%. Any less than that much of feedback is lost. But overall good for casual use. Just to note the Wheel size is very small, just like 10.2 inch ipad’s size.

Steering wheel is great with good force feedback. Foot pedals could have been better. However, for the price its a very good deal. Recommended if you get it under 17k.
