While obviously trying to fly a plane using a keyboard isn’t much fun, you might wonder whether purchasing just the sidestick would be enough. Having acquired the various TCA components over time I can say that you really do want to have all three. The throttle quadrant is a vast improvement over the little slider on the main side stick and then having proper control of flaps and spoilers with this add-on is a significant improvement. This is perhaps more so with flaps, which otherwise have to be extended rather awkwardly via buttons on the sidestick, whereas having spoiler control is more of a luxury than a “must have” but all together this makes the experience much closer to flying in a fixed base sim. Given that the total cost of the hardware is about the same as a couple of hours in the sim, I think this is well worth it.

The product is nice and very realistic but I’m experiencing some issue with the flaps lever. When in a large aircraft like a 747 it always lags and switches to it’s original position. The screws included don’t fit but it wasn’t a problem for me as I kept the screws included with the quadrant which I purchased earlier but I imagine it to be a problem for others

I purchased it along with the TCA Airbus Joystick and the Throttle Quadrant. Does the job. One thing through, it does not have the “Arm Auto Ground Spoilers” functionality (like in the real Airbus – you pull the spoiler lever up when it is in the completely retracted position). You have to map some other button for arming and disarming the auto ground spoilers – I use the two buttons below the engine knobs. Also I use the FBW A320NX in MSFS2020 and for some reason the AutoBrake knob does not work properly with that aircraft. People are saying AutoBrake knob works with the Asobo A320.

Pues el a los 8 meses empezó a dar error los ponenciadores del mando que controlan el timón de cola , haciendo imposible el pilotaje . Volvi a pedir uno a ver qué tal sale .

I have the base throttle and I tried to screw this addon to the base but I realized that the screws provided does not fit properly on the holes of addon ( flaps and spoilers both ). There are 2 holes on flaps part and 2 holes on the spoiler part but 1 hole from both the parts is of bigger size so the screws doesn’t fit it properly but they fitted properly on the holes on the throttle. the only solution to this is to get a clamp which is separately sold that fits and keeps together all the three products despite of loose screws.
