The primary reason I wanted to purchase these headphones was for voice conversations. However, the microphone is faulty, and despite my attempts, I have been unable to fix it. I even utilized the SteelSeries PC application and tried all the methods recommended online. At one point, I suspected that the issue might lie with my PC or operating system, so I conducted tests using Linux and a different device. Unfortunately, the problem persisted. Furthermore, there is an additional complication where all the audio from the headphones is being routed to the microphone, causing others to hear both the sound from my headphones and the microphone input. It is disheartening to discover that many individuals on Reddit are experiencing the same issue. Regrettably, I was unable to test the microphone prior to the expiration of the return period.

Great sound especially considering the low price tag The connecter is 3.5 mm. There is a splitter for separate headphones and mic connections The mic did not go in as easy as I thought it would causing several minutes of troubleshooting Works great with the single connector into the headphone jack on a PC

Very nice and comfortable but has a few big issues, even when trying to tune it using their software.
1. When muted, anyone in a call with you (like discord) can hear any sound that you’re hearing through the headphone speakers (like youtube) even when rather quiet.
2.People in call can hear themselves through your microphone very easily unless you turn up ai voice very high, as a soft spoken person I can no longer be heard very well when doing this.

I just purchased this headset for my PS5 and PC, and loving it !! Very well made, it feels premium, especially for the headband—super comfortable and clear GAMING sound. Would definitely recommend and I have had many headsets over the years including razer kraken, corsair hs35.

Setting at max volume will only give a below normal hearing level. Sound is good and you can locate footsteps. But not much difference between my old redgear cosmo 7.1. The redgear actually sounded better and is a lot cheaper. You can maybe buy an additional amp and it might sound better. But for that cost you can get a good headset.
Plus there is no equalizer software support in this one. Its just a stereo headphone.

Range is great and allows me to roam around rooms, and I have had great feedback on the quality of the microphone.
For gaming the sound quality is spot on. Gun fire is crisp, and footsteps are heard well in advanced so you wont be caught out.

Dedicated button for microphone on/off, circle for volume control..and detachable microphone makes it user friendly. Volume is not too high..its moderate to take care for our ears so who wants very high volume dont go for it….its like volume is Preset at 90%.over all 9.5/10 rating i will give.
