Got the first Apple watch for me today. I was waiting to buy a Apple watch for quite some time now.
Yesterday night was checking out the watch at Amazon and saw that they would deliver it by today if I order in few hours!
Ordered the watch and voila today the same was delivered as promised.
Initially I was not able to pair the watch with my iPhone 13. Tried many times and every time got the error message that the phone or iOS is not compatible!
Since it is first time for me, I was worried. Googled for a solution but without any credible result.
Then tried upgrading the iOS to 16.7 version, still it didn’t work. Now I was really worried and sad.
Eager to find a solution, visited the OS update section again in the iPhone and then I see below there was one more notification to upgrade the iOS to the new version 17. Did that and surprise… the pairing now worked.
Otherwise on packaging and delivery, nothing to complain.

It such a inconvenience, I starting to believe i should not order expensive stuff through amazon anymore. The order got delivered but when I checked the sport loop was missing. I had so many stuff planned for the next it is just disappointing. Now I have requested for refund or replacement lets see, I will keep you updated.

Replaced my first gen watch SE with this series 9. Love the Always On Retina display and health sensors and have the same full day battery. Even the fast charging type C braided cable looks premium and durable now. Sport loop is soft and light, in my opinion feels better than the silicon one and is more comfortable to wear while sleeping since I want to track my sleeping routine. On device Siri also seems to be working a tad bit faster and accurate.
Battery life is the only area where this particular watch can do better, maybe a 2 day battery will be just perfect.

Upgraded from series 5, the display brightness and resolution is a significant improvement. Apps open immediately unlike the previous generations which had a 2-3 sec loading bar. Most of the features and workout tracking are the same as my series 5. Blood oxygen and temperature tracking are new additions but i dont know if they are any useful to track my strength training workouts. Its a nice upgrade if you want a bigger and brighter display !
