Overall amazing reading experience. Immersive. Does what it’s advertised.
I am just concerned about it’s software longetivity. Kindle is stopping azw and epub file transfer to Kindle. The pdf highlights and nots cannot be exported. If you highlight something on pdf, they don’t reflect on your Kindle web or app which is very very concerning.
The rotation is only on one direction.
Not many features. Web browsing is a thrash.
Goodreads is also not so helpful. I dont know what it will really help in, when it redirects you to purchase and read on through Amazon purchase.
The ecosystem is very very limited. Apple and Google make a great ecosystem. Amazon has a long way to catch-up.

I have been using the Kindle Paperwhite for the past 4 months and i have to say this is the best investment I made. I read a lot of books and suddenly book prices are sky rocketing for some reason. So I decided to invest in a kindle and it’s the best.
I love having access to books all the time and I’m a night owl so reading during the nights is difficult with physical books so i love my kindle while reading late in the night.
Battery backup is good. The dark and light mode helps a lot for reading. I wish there were more Font Style options. Currently there are only 9 options. I’m also not happy with the fact that I can hold only 20 KU books at a time. Wish it were alteast 50. Other than this I love it.
Anyone who is an avid reader should buy Kindle.

Such a wonderful thing it is, the Kindle. Although not quite comparable with the aesthetics of reading a physical book, it does, significantly, reduce the friction of reading. Everytime I want to read a new book I find myself ordering it on the store (needn’t say the huge collection that happens to be there), and within a flash it’s there, on my kindle, ready to be read. I’ve started reading more after my purchase without any doubts. Also the e-ink display strains my eyes less during longer reading sessions. Would recommend to anyone who wants or does read for pleasure.

This one I bought during freedom sale a got myself a good discount. Otherwise I think its slightly pricy and could be cheaper for what it offers. I will say that I am enjoying reading books on it much better than my Laptop or Mobile screens any day.
Much to desire for from a product in this class such as Audio support, Audible support and E-newspaper support. Hope this will come in future updates or future Kindle

Since the age of 8, I was a very good reader. I used to read many books. Then, I found myself in a mess, there was no space for clothes. It was books everywhere! I thought of buying a kindle, and bought one! The Amazon Kindle 2018 (base model). That thing was mighty, it was the best e-reader one could offer for 7999! But then I lost it! It was such a disappointing moment in my life. I didn’t have much money back then, so I switched back to “normal” books.
Now, in 2023 I bought the Kindle Paperwhite! But what a havoc it was. The kindle missed the manufacturing print, the batter lasted for 2 weeks while Amazon claimed 10 weeks per charge. My kindle used to freeze while reading, and it was heartaching. Trust me, it felt even worse than when I had lost my Kindle.
And with this I urge Amazon to please ensure quality to their customers. It is such a dissapointment to expect such things from such a world-wide trusted brand.

The form factor of this kindle is really good, easy to hold in your hand, not too heavy…kind of the same as a normal sized book, but you would be holding thousands of e-books in this thing for the weight of one physical book
Interface is also simple and intuitive, n lots of videos about setting it up and guides n tips n tricks are available for it on youtube, very easy to understand
It’s totally monochromatic and works with e-ink, so dont expect it to behave like a tablet, much slower than a tab but then thats the charm of a kindle
Battery life has been good too, used it for a week with an hour of reading each day on airplane mode and the battery has dropped 14 percent, but that included transferring many many books to it n that uses more battery, so im expecting it to run for 2months on one full charge
I havent got any books from kindle store, so luckily im not getting any annoying ads yet but even if you do there is a workaround for that as well
It’s waterproof so can easily carry around outside during travel without any worry
Backside is made up of a rubbery material so its easy to grip too but a cover is recommended anyway
Has a password feature too
Pdfs can be stored in it but you dont get all features as a normal kindle format book would get, ive put all my ebooks via a normal usb from my laptop
The dictionary which is preinstalled on it comes in very handy
And the display is amazing, easy on the eyes, no strain at all, can read on it for many hours even at night, it has a warm light setting for that
Overall i would rate it 4/5, cutting one star just because there is still room for improvement and more features …at a price of 15k, it could have been faster, maybe had a earphone jack for audiobooks …and other stuff at this price
