Extremely happy with the product
Perfectly fits my mobile
Everything is good
If your using emulator on mobile this is a must buy
10 months later still working really good
For some games the joystick seem to lose slight response like char is running and will stop and run again
I dont know might be game/emulator fault or joystick
Need to see

Para quem gosta de utilizar controles nas duas mãos (a quem prefira os híbridos – controle + touch, como o G6) é um ótimo controle. Vale a pena a compra!

I am using this for 3 months now there are lots of problems with this.
1. while using it in touch input mode if you touch you screen it will stop working for 3-5 seconds
2. The placement of right analog stick is so bad if you x or a button that analog stick will defiantly be in your
way
3. In this price you can buy ps5 and x box controller with mobile holder attachment and they will be good quality controllers
4. You can not use L1, L2, R1, R2 at the same time it will not fit properly in your hands. either you can use L1/L2 or R1/R2.
That was my experience. It’s Your Money Your decision.

Ok so I’m reviewing this gamepad again after 10 months , I’m dividing this review in 3 categories.
( 1st : Gamepad overview ) gaming experience is very good in this gamepad , you can play Nintendo switch games through egg NS emulator but it heats a lot and we can’t attach additional cooler with this device like Gamesir X3. Thumbsticks and triggers are really good 👌Play grid autosports and you will understand what I’m talkin about.
(2nd : build quality and comfort) Well built quality is not so good it is decent but yeah gamepad is comfortable while holding in hands and its very lightweight.
(3rd : Games ) I will recommend y’all purchase this device only if you do emulator gaming like aether sx2 , egg ns ( not very heavy games )
Not recommended for battle royale games like PUBG and COD.
So here is my full review I hope you will find this helpful

Shipping was extremely fast coming in only a few days after ordering which was a surprise as Amazon had stated about a week, was pleasantly surprised to receive it earlier.
There has a been a few attempts at these type of extendable controllers recently from others like ipega and flydigi that have failed to meet the mark and even more clip on options like 8bitdo but none feel as seamless as Gamesir’s latest release the Gamesir X2, the flexible back makes it super simple to click on and off but the genius in its design is the adjustable Type-C Plug that allows you to plug and unplug your device without worrying about damaging either the phone nor the X2. A couple of times i’ve managed to stick it in sideways and it still hasn’t harmed the plug whatsoever and works seamlessly.
The device comes well packaged and does not present as some cheap chinese garbage, make no mistake, this is a premium product! It has a very sturdy construction and good ergonomics, feeling great in the hand with the rubberised back pads a really nice touch.
As this device is connected via the Type-C rather than by wifi like alot off cheap competitors then there is ZERO lag, this makes a huge difference when you’re gaming, anyone who has used cheap wifi controllers knows that any latency is simply unacceptable.
The buttons all feel nice and responsive, the only downside I see is the triggers can tend to be a bit loud and clicky, but otherwise great response, acknowledging they were actually pressed, rather than feeling mushy. The joysticks are also fantastic with great range of motion and smooth as butter, no stiffness whatsoever. OTG did not work out of the box for my device however a firmware update through the official software fixed that and OTG charging has worked perfectly since.
This is a fantastic option for emulation enthusiasts, android gamer addicts, upcoming cloud gaming options and steamlink options, all of which i’ve tested with the X2 and it didn’t skip a beat at anything thrown at it. Be aware you will need to be rooted, use the Gamesir Play Protect bypass or some other method in order to do keymapping.

The media could not be loaded.
It doesn’t work in any game, doesn’t work via Bluetooth keys don’t map. Deluxe will turn off immediately if the able is disconnected.

I had an old phone (OnePlus 7T) which I wanted to convert into a handheld gaming system. For that purpose, the GameSir X2 works well. It’s comfortable, the sticks are awesome and the buttons and triggers have a robust click to them that is very satisfying.
My only issue is the lack of audio passthrough. The same also applies to this device’s competitor, the Razer Kishi, but it is a huge oversight on both manufacturer’s parts.
Even if GameSir don’t want to include a 3.5mm audio jack on the device, they could at least have allowed audio passthrough over the USB-C port. That way we could buy a USB-C to 3.5mm dongle or cable and have lag-free audio to our headphones that way.
Alas, with this controller you are stuck with Bluetooth audio, which by default on most Android configurations is laggy. If your headphones and device support aptX of some variant, chances are you are good to go and won’t notice any lag. But if either of your devices don’t support aptX then Android is likely to default to the SBC codec, which adds noticeable lag when playing games. There are ways to force another compatible codec, which may improve audio quality and lag, but you’ll need to go into your device’s developer options to enable those.
About my only other issue with this device, while not a big flaw, is a bit of an own goal. And that’s the lack of a built-in battery. I have no idea how much space is in these devices, but should there be space to include a battery it’d be ideal if GameSir included one in a future iteration. Gaming will drain your devices battery, so it makes sense to give it as much juice as possible while playing. A built in battery to augment your device’s would be a big help.
Some people may take issue with the button layout, which opts for the Nintendo style. That may actually work in your favour if you’re using this to play emulators of Nintendo systems. I’m not (I use this to play PC games streamed to my device), but since I am well-versed in both Nintendo and Sega/Microsoft style button layouts I adjusted easily. But it’s something to take in mind as your muscle memory may drive you crazy if you can’t find a way to switch the buttons around (FYI, Moonlight PC Game Streaming app allowed me to switch the X-Y and A-B buttons to replicate the Sega/Microsoft layout, so if that’s your use-case you don’t need to worry about this).

Bought this to convert by Pixel 3 XL with glitchy touchscreen as a retro gaming console. Works pretty well.
