The switch is giving trouble. Also there is some issue with this. I connected the MI box and set top box. When we power on only one signal is passed the other is not detected. I have to restart.

I have a large monitor at home which I switch between my personal desktop and office laptop. After frequently plugging and unplugging the HDMI cables I went for the switch after going through the reviews.
It worked well initially I didn’t have any issues from switching monitors of similar orientation and similar size (resolution). The problem is I have a vertical setup in one of the monitor it should technically detect the changing resolution because the CPU is communicating with the monitor, it does switch cleanly multiple times but then it started failingafter some time .
If you switch from vertical monitor to horizontal monitor. the orientation will not change. And if you switch from horizontal high resolution monitor to vertical monitor it will throw an error, it is not as same as you unplug the HDMI from one cable and plug it into the other display construct despite this few failures overall it worked well.
