Alla ricerca di un obiettivo “smart” per la mia sony alpha 7 III, ho voluto testare la focale da 40mm. Fin da subito è scattato il feeling. Piccolo, leggero, focale leggermente più chiusa del 35mm ma nello stesso tempo un filo più ampia del 50mm. L’obiettivo in mano trasmette la sensazione di qualità e anche gli scatti sono notevoli. L’unica pecca è il costo. Trovato in offerta è un best buy per quanto mi riguarda

Love this lens. I have this for my A7C. I have 28mm f2 which is also compact but this one is a little more so and the focal length of this is great because I found myself using Super 35 mode with my 28mm lens which equates to 42mm focal length. The build quality is great, very premium and when on the camera, feels likes it’s part of the camera. I reviewed extensively on what focal length I should I go for in terms of casual, street photography and kept coming to this 40mm and when I saw this compact version, although it’s only f2.5, I had to go for it because it’s a Sony lens, so no compromises in terms of quality or functionality features!! It has aperture ring, focus ring, and a customisable function button. I didn’t know how much I would appreciate and make use of the rings!! Aperture ring is great to use compared to using built in ring that’s on the camera, as on my A7C, I have a thumb grip attached and it makes it a little difficult to access the ring but with this lens it’s great! Pricey but I believe this is a great lens to have on my camera (actually, the only one when I go out in London or travel wherever else). I own this 40mm, the 28mm (which I stopped using as much sadly) and then the 35-150 tamron (which is intended for more professional photoshoots – and oh is it great, seriously check it out).

Le Sony SEL40F25G, Monture E – Objectif Plein Format FE 40mm f/2.5 G Noir, c’est comme le petit génie discret de la famille des objectifs Sony G . Il peut sembler petit, mais ne vous y trompez pas, il a de grandes surprises à offrir !
Avec sa focale de 40 mm, c’est comme si cet objectif avait une vision magique qui capture parfaitement le monde qui nous entoure. Il se faufile dans toutes les situations, que ce soit pour des portraits élégants ou pour des clichés de rue spontanés.
Avec une ouverture de f/2.5, cet objectif est prêt à briller même dans des conditions de faible luminosité. AF rapide, précis et silencieux, vous pouvez dire adieu aux photos floues dans les endroits sombres, car le 40 F2.5 excelle dans la capture de détails nets et lumineux.
Mais ce qui rend cet objectif vraiment amusant, c’est sa compacité et sa légèreté. Vous pouvez l’emporter partout avec vous sans vous sentir encombré, et il se fond parfaitement dans l’esthétique de votre appareil photo. C’est comme avoir un atout secret dans votre sac photo !
En résumé, le Sony 40 F2.5 est comme le petit acrobate agile du monde des objectifs. Il sait comment faire des prouesses photographiques avec style, et il ne vous laissera jamais tomber. Alors, préparez vous à être ébloui par les résultats de cet objectif, car il est prêt à vous étonner à chaque clic !

Mich hat das SEL40F25G überzeugt !
Egal ob an der Vollformat oder APSC Kamera, dieses Objektiv ist für beide Systeme gleichermaßen zu den kleinen, kompakten aber hochklassigen Objektiven zu zählen.
Tolle Verarbeitung aus Metall gefertigt, G-Taste die belegt werden kann, AF/MF Switch, Fokusring stufenlos für Filmer oder auch per Switch in Rastern einstellbar (für Fotografie schöner).
Die Lichtstärke reicht mehr als aus, denn das Bokeh ist wunderbar, die schärfe schon auf niedriger Blende sehr gut bis zum Rand, selbst wenn man offenblendig das i.d.R. gar nicht benötigt.
Highlight ist der lineare, neue Autofokus von Sony. Lautlos und sitzt im Falle der A7C oder auch ZV-E10 oder A6400 in meinen Fällen einfach immer. An VF ein schönes immerdrauf und an APSC eine Brennweite mit der man schon schöne Portraits und Close-ups machen kann, aber auch als immerdrauf taugt.
Das Reisepackmaß ist so leicht und gering, ohne auf Bildqualität zu verzichten. Von den drei Objektiven dieser Serie, bevorzuge ich tatsächlich hier das 40mm gegenüber dem 50er under 24er.
Von mir eine Empfehlung an alle die Bildqualität, zuverlässigen Autofokus und hohe Verarbeitungsqualität zu schätzen wissen.
Ach und wichtig: Das Objektiv ist versiegelt gegen Staub und Feuchtigkeit, was es noch besser macht, als Reporterstyle/Street/kompaktes Reiseobjektiv

I think I was lucky that just for chance I saw this lens was 100 off, so I took the chance. I went to Vienna next day with my a7iv and this sony, I was familiar with 40 mm since I did own the batis, and I still own the voigtlander 40 1.4 VM which I adapt it via techart.
I like the dimensionality this lens provide, not all lenses do that, I posted a image here but I don;t know if that effect will be noticed due amazon IQ compression, also it is very very sharp,..for me it is a keeper of a lens. I will pair it with the magnificent sigma 65, these two lenses do an incredible combo…
I love the voigtlander but of course, this is a native lens, would be so perfect a f2 in this form factor, but even if it is 2.5, today days Iso , denoise technology has improve so so much,..that it still worth it.

Love this lens. I have this for my A7C.
