This is a GREAT printer, no doubt. However, it miserably fails in a few areas.
Cons: 1. NOT Hp Eprint enabled => Cannot have an email address for the peinter for remote printing. There is google cloud integration, but useless as google cloud print does not exist anymore. 2. Printer web UI- Reminds me of windows 98. 3. Max scan resolution is 300dpi.thats bad for many uses. 4. Toner – almost 4.8k.Most inportantly NOT AVAILABLE ANYWHERE. 5. NO AUTOMATIC DUPLEX PRINTING.
PROS: 1. ADF is a bliss. 2. Gets the job done. Has good print quality. 3. Easy to setup and get running. 4. Compatible with android wireless print, Windows wireless print, Air print.
Bottom Line: Its features ring all the bells. However at this price point, Duplex Printing and hp E Print are a mandate, which are lost here. Disppointed. Will have ot for some time but will eventually get it off of my hands and go for a laser option that has the features.

I own a HP Laser Printer for one floor of my office. I own a Brother Laser Printer for one floor. For my new floor, I got this one. Unfortunately the ink/toner cartridge is two times as expensive. This is not something I was expecting. So i Kind of regret my purchase. In functionality there is no issue. I own a coworking office in Noida so we have to make sure we have plenty of ink handy and this is just too expensive to maintain and run. Will update in 2 months.

Great printer. Took 10 minutes to unpack and 5 minutes to set up which only requires plugging it in, connecting to laptop using the USB cable and downloading the driver and scanning software from the HP website. The printer is detected automatically as soon as the driver is installed. Also install the HP Smart app and plugin app on your mobile and follow the instructions to print documents and pictures from mobile to the printer it is connected to your wifi using the printer display panel wizard. Took another 5 minutes to get everything working just fine. Scanning using the ADF or flatbed is a breeze. Go for the ADF model because it allows scanning and printing legal size documents also in addition to the usual A4. Overall an unbeatable printer below Rs 20k. Yet to try out the fax.
Update after 8 months continuous use: Working fine even after relocation across the country through packers and movers. Great value for money. Takes just minutes to set up. Retaining the original box and packing is advisable.

I have been a Canon follower for a long time as it had delivered fairly good results, but lately have been miffed by its compatibility to Mac operating system.(I use a Mac computer). So i hesitatingly purchased this HP printer.
The HP smart software is really better than the Canon software in usability and the smart tasks feature is quite friendly. It can color scan documents and photos which is really good whereas its competitor Canon model will not do this even though it is priced higher. This model can scan in color but cannot print in color. Connecting to the HP smart sometimes takes a little long especially uploading to Evernote, ( i don’t know why ? ) but manageable.
I have not really calculated the cost per page as i am not a heavy user to factor this aspect in buying this machine. Overall happy with the machine.
