This is a very economical printer provides a good value for money. I have been regularly buying this model and have not faced any major issues so far.

I have been using this product for about 2 years now. We at office print regularly 40 pages on an average day. However, during peak days it might reach to 350 pages. The pros and cons are detailed out here.
::::: Pros ::::
1) No Maintenance whatsoever. Only you need to keep an eye on ink tank.
2) Very good response to print.
3) Subsequent pages after the first print at ultra speed rates. (Eg: If you give 5 copies to print, the first copies will take around 3 seconds and the remaining 4 copies in about 3 seconds (0.75 seconds/page).
4) Subsequent pages after the first photocopy at ultra speed rates. (Eg: If you give 5 copies to print, the first copies will take around 4 seconds and the remaining 4 copies in about 3 seconds (0.75 seconds/page).
5) Connectivity options in USB and LAN. You can connect multiple PCs to it.
6) Scan are of crisp quality and extreme precision.
7) Documents can be directly scanned and exported as pdf. It is an excellent feature for office goers.
8) Setup is easy and demo installation is provided free by the manufacturer – Epson.
9) Re-fulling the ink tank is a child’s play.
10) Print Quality is appreciable
11) Customer Care is appreciable.
::::: Cons :::::
1) Broke down once during operation. Half of the paper was having black spots.
2) A monthly auto maintenance is required (operated by the machine menu) which will take care of print heads, nozzle, etc and two pages and 10 minutes to waste.
3) It attracts loads of dust and needs constant cleaning.
4) Feeder medium photocopy is too slow. I have no idea why they even made is available.
However, considering all the options mentioned, it is a good buy.

I was looking for a good home printer for quite sometime before I came across the M200. I liked the idea of wireless printing from my laptop and mobile devices through my wireless router. Somehow, everyone I spoke to said wifi / bluetooth features in printers don’t always work reliably. I looked up printshare options, but somehow I have had serious reliability issues with router-to-usb connections.
I am just very big on relability. I like things to just work without question. And so I go through a lot of pain to ensure that I get reliability in return for my money.
I got some solid advise about wireless printing. The only way you can get reliable wireless printing is if you hook up your router to your printer via a ethernet port. This advise turned out to be gold.
I would advise you to list down your printing requirements before you embark upon a scouting mission to find the perfect printer. I did. And this is what my list looked like:
1. Low cost per print
2. Black & White only
3. Dual scanning option (flatbed + feeder)
4. Ethernet port
5. Simple interface
6. Must print reliably from all mobile devices connected to my home router
7. Must not be picky about paper quality.
By and large, the M200 has turned out to be a 7/7, although i still can’t endorse the cost-per-print bit just yet.
After 1 week of use, here’s how I see its pros and cons:
Pros:
1. Sets up like a breeze, but be sure to follow the instructions carefully.
2. The ink tank function is pretty cool. Somehow it feels good to see the translucent ink tank show me the ink level. Filling the tank is easy, and 1 1/2 ink bottles came free in the box.
3. The epson iprint app has a very simple interface, and one can print and scan quite easily without turning on my pc. Works reliably.
4. Best part was scanning a multi page document on to my phone and sharing it as a pdf. That was impressive.
5. The feeder (scanner) and the printer both take different qualities of paper, and i have not had much problems, except with crumpled or badly folded paper.
6. Print quality is fine. Perfectly acceptable.
Cons:
1. It is delicate. You better handle it with butter fingers. The build quality cannot be compared with a hardcore office or commercial printer. For me this is no biggie coz i’m careful with my stuff.
2. It is a dust magnet. I wipe it with a 3M microfiber cloth often to keep it looking good as new.
3. The epson iprint app for mobile devices doesnt let you print everything. It’s not as simple as printing from a pc. For instance, i can easily print an attachment or a screenshot, but not an email (covering mail) from my gmail app. It makes you save every doc as a pdf on google drive before printing it. Having said that, it still does print quite reliably.
Overall, for a printer that comes with mobile printing through ethernet, this printer is a steal.
