See it is a good product if you use it with care . I am a rough and tough user so the USB C pin of this got damaged and stopped working . You can go for it but if you can invest go for a better one

i have 500 mbps connection and i can confirm that you will get speed of 500mbps but dont know about a gbps,also i found while i was doing speedtest,it got hot and in long run,heat may cause it to be stop working. i also found some driver issue or something like after i restart my pc or switch and turn on pc,then it stops working and i literally have to replug and reinstall the drivers,this is so annoying,i bought this one to switch between isp’s as backup but this thing is so weird that i cant do that. it has its own driver and that driver is buggy and installing realtek’s usb driver isnt working for this. i recommend going for other one,this isnt for you if you aren’t going to reconnect or do anything like that.
