Size is good enough to keep it in back pocket.
With USB cable it gave me 2-10 MBPS speed and with type-C it gave me 50-60 MBPS.
There is warranty issue with SSD and you need to contact Seagate tech support to get the warranty validity updated. They give you updated warranty date but don’t correct data recovery validity.
For example, Instead of 3 years, I got SSD with only 2 year warranty and 2 year or data recovery validity. Seagate support team updated the warranty date on giving them the copy of invoice but refused to update the data recovery validity date.

I am loving this drive! It’s way smaller than my last drive (previously I had a WD drive that was about the size of my full hand – this Seagate drive is about the size of my palm – even a little smaller) but it has twice the storage capacity! I also love that I can use this like a giant flash drive and just drag & drop files onto it without having to run backup software that takes an eternity. Granted, it still took an eternity to transfer nearly 1TB of data onto this new drive once I got it, but I just let it run overnight and it was done well before I woke up. I haven’t activated the Toolkit software that lets you sync folders for backup purposes, but I don’t know if I will or not. I kind of like just being able to drag and drop in the files that I know I want to save instead of having my computer hang onto backup versions of literally everything on my computer. All in all, this seems like a good drive. I’ll probably be buying another Seagate drive in the future whenever this one gets full.

Was skeptical when I reviewed tech specs and operation. Opened up package and was operating withing 15 minutes. Product worked as described. Great small size. Quiet and ease of operation. Great value for your docs and especially pics.

Loved it. I bought this as the storage for my Timemachine backups.
It supports the Mac out of the box and is capable of writing backups extremely fast.

It works great. Compact and fast. However it did not connect with my one plus nord android phone. It did not even get detected. Followed the complete procedure.
Be aware, may not be compatible with all phones. If I find a solution, I will update it here.

10年前購入のiMacが動作が遅くなっていたので、内蔵HDDはそのまま外付けSSDにOSとデータを移行するために購入しました。
1TBで伝送スピードが速くシンプルなデザインのSeagateのOneTuch T7は、USB-CとUSB-Aケーブルも同梱され、届いたら即セットできました。ただ少しケーブル短すぎると思いました。

で約8000円する商品を買いましたがまったく使い物になりませんでした。
容量があっても、ちょっと長い動画等でも保存できず、通信速度も遅いため、付属のotgケーブル等を買い足したり、タイプCケーブルを新たに購入しても全く無駄でした。
やはり、中華製でしょうか？容量と安さで買いましたが、ケーブルを無駄に買ったりと大損でした。
通信速度はHDHDD自体の能力によります！
みなさん安い中華製に気をつけてください！

付属のタイプC～タイプCケーブルですぐに認識し、容量の多い動画もすうっと早い速度で移せました、他の方のレビューでもあったとおり、今までがなんだったのかと多いました(涙)
この製品の回し者じゃないですけど、絶対これいいですよ！
端末はauGALAXY S10 ちょっと古いスマホですが、全然認識しました！

I bought this drive to transfer data in GB’s from my laptop to my ipad for editing and the read/write are simply great. Even the Samsung 980 Gen4 nvme on my laptop has slower speed than this drive. Write speeds are simply great and I have no complaints. Must buy if you need lot of big data transfers and can be life saver during crunch time.
