Arrived as promised- much smaller that my other 2T Seagate Portables but that’s because of the Solid State Drive. Partioned to make a 1tb Time Machine Backup drive and 1 tb data drive to hold my Lightroom files and working FCP Library. The speed is impressive.

It works great. Compact and fast. However it did not connect with my one plus nord android phone. It did not even get detected. Followed the complete procedure.

Size is good enough to keep it in back pocket. With USB cable it gave me 2-10 MBPS speed and with type-C it gave me 50-60 MBPS. There is warranty issue with SSD and you need to contact Seagate tech support to get the warranty validity updated. They give you updated warranty date but don’t correct data recovery validity. For example, Instead of 3 years, I got SSD with only 2 year warranty and 2 year or data recovery validity. Seagate support team updated the warranty date on giving them the copy of invoice but refused to update the data recovery validity date.

I bought this drive to transfer data in GB’s from my laptop to my ipad for editing and the read/write are simply great. Even the Samsung 980 Gen4 nvme on my laptop has slower speed than this drive. Write speeds are simply great and I have no complaints. Must buy if you need lot of big data transfers and can be life saver during crunch time.

I use this for expandable storage on my Xbox series X games. You can only play last gen games off of it, you can store new games on it but have to transfer them over to the internal xbox storage to play the newer games. Really fast transfer speeds.
I picked this up for 65$, it’s easily worth over 100$ in 2023. I ordered a second one , it’s that good.

10年前購入のiMacが動作が遅くなっていたので、内蔵HDDはそのまま外付けSSDにOSとデータを移行するために購入しました。
1TBで伝送スピードが速くシンプルなデザインのSeagateのOneTuch T7は、USB-CとUSB-Aケーブルも同梱され、届いたら即セットできました。ただ少しケーブル短すぎると思いました。
