Works totally great! I think for an average user, the speed is awesome! Only the first time you might transfer 300-400 gm which can take 20-30mins, other than that, you won’t even notice when the transfer is finished! It’s lighting fast speed even at 300 mbps! I got it for around 5.1 k during festival with discounts and it’s definitely the best deal!!
It is so light weight that I even forget that I put in the bag!! Type c cable is handy and works great!

I’ve used a lot of external hard disks over last 25 years. This is by far the sleekest and fastest ever. I looked at a lot of other options before buying this, but I’m glad I bought this. It’s great value for money and works beautifully with my Mac. Super happy.

Esta unidad SSDes de muy buena calidad y muy alta velocidad. La estoy utilizando en una iMac de 2017 que traía disco duro y funcionaba muy lenta. Reinstalé el sistema operativo en el SSD conectado al puerto USB C y funciona con mucha velocidad aún con los programas de diseño más pesados, casi tan rápido como las nuevas Mac. Es una enorme mejora en el desempeño, particularmente cuando se usa software demandante de recursos. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

This little hard dive is small but mighty, it will fit in your pocket for easy transportation. It’s true to storage size and the transfer speed is fast. I was able to transfer all my pictures and files from my OLD computer to this storage drive in under a half hour without a problem.
Definitely would recommend.

Like: Size, Weight Quality and value for money. It would be nice to alsohave a short ( 4″) USB Connector. The device hangs on long cord on my Mac Air and is a bit awkward

It’s not small as the latest version, and not as fast but if you are on Mac, none of your computer will benefit of the extra speed of the newer models unless you go thunderbolt and spend lot more money. So this is the perfect solid state external hard drive at a fair price.

Bought this SSD (Crucial X6 500GB Portable SSD Up to 540MB/s USB 3.2 External Solid State Drive, USB-C – CT500X6SSD9, Black, 39 Grams) and using exFAT filesystem (to access the storage on Android and MacOS also). The WriteSpeed of this SSD is “40 Megabytes per second” at its max.
This SSD is worth the cost and is very compact with a very relatively fast speed (copying 11 GB took 8 mins).
But if you are looking for a very fast speed, then you must go for the SSD with 1Gbps speed (approx).

The key thing is it is very compact, it can easily fit in small pocket. Writing speed is a bit low compared to 1050 Mbps SSDs but this one is most value for money ssd for just safekeeping and browsing the data.
