Got the 4TB Drive for INR 6,137 back in October 2021. The drive worked well for the first few months but after 6 months I started to get weird disk scraping noises from the HDD when under load, i.e., when its first connected or when large files were being copied. The drive worked perfectly even then and I was able to recover all 4 TB of data from the drive without any losses. I issued an RMA from WD, and they accepted the failure and will now ship me a replacement drive. Overall I’ve had a mixed experience with this drive. I got it at a fantastic price of INR 1534/GB and the drive speeds are better than any HDD I’ve seen. The reliability is a huge question mark though since I was careful enough not to move my drive around anywhere and always had it powered through a stabilized UPS and still it failed. Probably a Manufacuring defect. Hoping the replacement drive will be better.

I used 12 TB HDD of western digital and i m satisfy of this product. I am used western digital’s hdd since 2015. Its good compare to seagate hdd ( i used seagate since 2010 its wrost experience till date )
