For 4TB, it is said the speed is 5400 rpm. However, this was way too slow. I was very surprised to know it takes ten hours to copy my data of hundreds of gigabytes.

Ich habe meine Dual-Boot Installationen Win11 auf einer 1 TB externen Festplatte als Image der beiden Systeme und die Dateisicherungen mit Win7 gemacht. Nachdem die Festplatte zu klein würde suchte ich eine Größere. Ich habe mich für diese Seagate One Touch HUB 4 TB entschieden. Seit 2 Monaten sichere ich auf diese Festplatte und bin sehr zufrieden. Die Inbetriebnahme war dank der heruntergeladenen Anleitung einfach zu machen. Mit dem zu herunterladenden Werkzeug Toolkit läuft jetzt das sichern wirklich bequem automatisch und einfach. Bin sehr zufrieden.

Die Festplatte ist sehr leise und sehr kompakt gebaut. Ich verwende diese mit einer Fritzbox zum abspeichern von Daten. Die Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit ist gut.

It starts off good with like 200mb transfer speed but later as time goes by during transfer it drops to 355kb or 710kb and sit there seriously this is annoying me like crazy
I’m not able to back up much stuff directly due to the above issue
I dont know whether the product i have is defective or its common in all but do be carefull

Ich benutze die Festplatte als Erweiterung für mein NAS (Asustor) und bin voll zufrieden damit. Kann nun von überall im Haus auf meine Foto- und Videosammlung zugreifen. Die Platte wurde zwar mit ExtFAT formatiert ausgeliefert, was vom NAS nicht akzeptiert wurde, aber nachdem ich sie an meinen PC angeschlossen und dort auf NTFS umformatiert hatte, lief alles problemlos. Dank des eingebauten USB-Hubs kann man eine weitere Platte anschließen, und das Speichersystem somit noch zusätzlich erweitern. Hab es ausprobiert, funktioniert klaglos!

After connecting to the power source and to computer there was no indication of power being supplied to the device. The multiple pin type changeable adapters provided with the power adapter do not give the surety if the contacts are touching as no light comes to indicate power supply.
