I have been using seagate hard drives for a long time. I bought another brand for a change and returned it as I found it was more noisy than I have been used to. So I returned it and bought this one instead and am very happy with it. I don’t care too much about data transfer rates etc., so will not comment on it. It just looks good and is very quiet. Hopefully should last me a long time as my other seagate drives.

File Transfer rate is 30mbps. Product quality is good. Not heating while connecting in PC. I run this morning to evening continuously.

USB 3.0 is not available and it is not compatible with MAC.As you can see it is not compatible with MAC laptop as MAC has type C ports

Was viele nicht wissen oder vergessen: vorab: 2 TB sind eigentlich nur 1.8 TB und 4 dann halt 3.6 TB. Hat was mit der Berechnung zu tun. Man bekommt nie eigentlich das, was draufsteht. Sollte man bedenken, wenn man sich für die Größe des Speichers entscheidet.
Die 2 TB sind schön klein und praktisch. Die Farbe weiß gefällt mir auch. Die Oberfläche ist matt. Habe mich dann aber doch für die 4 TB entschieden, weil 1,8 TB mir dann doch etwas zu wenig erschien, da ich ja nicht jedes Jahr was Neues kaufen will und es lange halten soll, bis es voll ist. Die 4TB, also 3,6TB, ist dicker und leider gräulich, obwohl es als weiß verkauft wird. Der Preis ist in Ordnung. Ist immer hin kein billiges China Unternehmen.
Ist KEIN USB Anschluss. Wenn man nur einen normalen USB am PC hat, kann man es nicht mit dem mitgleiferten Kabel verwenden. USB-C ist nicht dasselbe. USB C ist wie bei neuen Samsung Handys z.B. Dafür braucht man auch am PC eine Buchse, sonst kann man es nicht anschließen. Die Datenübertragung vom Computer auf die Festplatte geht auch ganz fix.
Bewertung bezieht sich auf den Preis von 112 Euro von Anfang Juli. Für UVP von 185 Euro hätte ich es nicht gekauft bzw. wesentlich mehr erwartet.
Von den Worten “nachhaltig” und “umweltfreundlich” sollte man sich nicht blenden lassen. Das Plastikgehäuse macht vielleicht 25% vom Produkt aus. Und von diesen 25% sind auch nur angeblich 30% aus recyceltem Plastik. Das wären ein paar Gramm und mehr nicht.
P.S. Jetzt sehe ich erst die Datenübertragungsrate, die ganz unten unter “mit ähnlichen Produkten vergleichen” angezeigt wird. Sind 5000 MB, also 5GB, was genauso wie die anderen Geräte ist, die in etwa genauso viel kosten. Hätte man oben in den Spezifikationen mit angeben sollen! Würde trotzdem dieses Gerät bevorzugen, da Seagate ein US Unternehmen ist und kein China Unternehmen. Wurde aber trotzdem in Thailand hergestellt laut Aufschrift auf Verpackung.

The product was nicely packed and upon inboxing I got my HDD It has a good transfer speed and very light weight and compact so very easy to carry that
The main point is price I compared it everywhere got best deal from Amazon on some sale you can also go for WD but the build quality from debate is very good also you get USB3.0 which is very good
