You need to be familiar with the installation process and spend some time to read the manual online.
Performance is great, my son love it…
After installation you need to learn about the bios options cause it is a bit complicated…

But definitely good for choice for new gaming pc…

Took 3 hours to build the pc yesterday…
Will add to this review after testing it more carefully…

This board is really incredible for the price. It has everything you need for a gaming focused pc. The bios options are excellent. I’m able to run the TVB settings to get this to all-core boost to 5.8ghz while gaming. TVB I use a 50C -1 75C -2 with a 360mm loop it rarely hits 75C when gaming so it will bounce 5.7-5.8 1.32v at load line 3. I run the ring at 5ghz and memory is samsung b-die 15-15-15-36 4000 1.45v gear 1. CPU pulls 100-140W when gaming. Also the fact this has 4 nvme slots makes it so that I never need to use a sata ever again. I honestly can’t see spending more than this for a motherboard when this really gives you a lot of value. I game a lot this has been rock stable. I’m very happy with this board.

    My three cents:
This is a good mid-range motherboard aimed at professionals and even new PC builders. It offers advanced Wi-Fi 6e support, fast NVMe storage options, and versatile connectivity options. The motherboard’s build quality and components are top-notch, and its overclocking potential is enhanced by a robust power delivery system. However, its RGB lighting options are limited, and there are fewer USB ports compared to some competitors. Despite these drawbacks, the MSI PRO Z790-P WiFi DDR4 ProSeries is an excellent choice for those who want a high-performance, reliable motherboard for demanding applications. Overall you would get this if you’re not doing a lot of OC and just want something working out of the box with some good features.

    Pros:

    – Advanced Wi-Fi 6e support with dual-band 802.11ax
    – Multiple M.2 slots for fast NVMe storage
    – Versatile connectivity options, including Thunderbolt 4 and USB 3.2 Gen 2
    – Good value for money compared to similar high-end motherboards
    – Support for the latest Intel processors, including Intel Core 11th Gen processors
    – Robust power delivery system for stable operation and overclocking

    Cons:

    – Limited RGB lighting options
    – Fewer USB ports compared to some competitors

Seems to do mostly what it’s supposed to do, except the integrated Intel i225-v network controller is absolute garbage. It may be able to negotiate at 2.5 Gb, but it cannot even muster over ~350 Mbps (tested on file transfers from an all flash NAS over LAN). This is a well known issue with this chipset with seemingly no real fix. Intel supposedly fixed this issue with a hardware revision over a year ago, but either board manufacturers aren’t buying that chip, or the issue wasn’t really fixed. All of the suggested “fixes” by Intel, which involve changing driver settings, only help 5-10%. I would avoid any board with the i225-v if you intend to rely on the onboard NIC.
