The seller needs to specify the exact product. They have named it MSI Arsenal Gaming which is confusing. But anyways I bought it and got the B450 Tomahawk Max version. Working fine. RGB lights are also working fine. A bit costly compared to the market. It’s a full ATX board and comes with 2 SATA cables, an NVME screw, and an i/o shield.

Got it since it looked to have decent VRMs in case I needed overclocking, works well but needed to flash it with updated BIOS from MSI website for my Ryzen 5 3600 in order to POST. Motherboard includes a convenient flashback button, so could update without other AMD CPU.

It’s a very good solid motherboard for AMD CPUs. It works with AMD 3000 series if you update the motherboard to the newer BIOS versions. Ideally sellers should update the BIOS to the latest version before shipping it out but I guess they didn’t do that to keep the cost low. Even if you get one with old BIOS, you can borrow a bootkit from AMD Singapore so that you can upgrade the board to the latest BIOS or just get that $50 (SGD79) AMD Athlon 200GE CPU.

There is a button for bios update, you can update bios in 1 click.. my was already updated for gen-3 cpu. It is the best motherboard in this category you may find gigabyte or other motherboard bit cheaper than this, it’s better than them interms of build quality and durability . Packaging was awesome came in bubble wrap marked as fragile. About the MSI B450 motherboard- It’s a beast in terms of gaming as well as other multi-utility functions Unless you have one in hand I can’t tell you how beautiful this motherboard is I’m in love with MSI and will build my new PC all msi It’s the best motherboard in this category you may find gigabyte or other motherboard bit cheaper than this but mind you it’s better than them interms of build quality,durability and also functionality The RGB lighting is awesome but msi could have done more in upper region of the board

Ordered this on 2nd June 19. Got this within a week’s time in Hyderabad.
The motherboard pretty much gets the work done. The overall build quality is OK. The BIOS has easy options for overclocking the CPU, RAM etc. Also much user friendly to use. I faced an issue as I was making the build. It was not showing up any display as I turned on for the first time. Then I installed my graphics card GTX 970 (from my old build) and the display came through that. never tired the on board display again. I was scared the sound won’t work either but it’s working fine. I overclock the Ryzen 1200 upto 3.8. And it was working fine until I started playing Overwatch. After 10 mins of playing Overwatch the PC switched off. So I tuned down and it’s running smooth at 3.45 Ghz with the stock cooler. I might switch to an after market cooler next time. So, all good for now! The story just got started, so I will keep updating as the something comes up in this same place 🙂 hope that helps.

After ordering this I saw a lot of reviews and many people noted that it did not work with Ryzen 3. So I was worried that would be the case with my purchase as well. Fortunately it did work out of the box with my Ryzen 3600 with motherboard Bios 7A40vAA. However, there was nothing stating that it would work and I didn’t know until I powered it up for the first time. On the box it stated “AMD Ryzen desktop 2000 ready” and nothing more. Why couldn’t they put a sticker on the box or motherboard stating that the BIOS had been upgraded and that it would work with Ryzen 3?

Supports Over Clocking with B450 chipset Supports Ram upto 3466MHz(OC) Supports M.2 NVME/SATA SSd(x4 32GBPS) MSI ClockBios has really good interface. with OC Genie which will automatically oc cpu (if enabled). CONS: In my case, the motherboard(latest bios updated) sets CPU Core Voltages above 1.4v for Ryzen 3 1300x in Auto Mode(without OC). It is too high for the cpu. So I’ve to set it manually to lower the value.
