i have lenovo v15 ryzen 3 5300u low end laptop . i upgraded to 16 gb now and the performance boosted 250% more. definitely recommend using it if you have an amd cpu with not so bad integrated graphics. now i get 60 fps in 1080 p normal settings gta v . before it was an avg of 24-26 fps .

This memory stick was used in a second, free slot in a HP Zbook Studio G4 notebook in addition to an existing 8 GB RAM stick from SK Hynix with a green PCB. The added G.Skill RAM works flawlessly; don’t forget to use a memory test program to look for errors. Although this specific laptop UEFI/BIOS did not give the option to choose memory speeds or timings, both RAM sticks work at 2400 MHz (1200 MHz double data rate) out of the box with the lowest possible timings that both sticks are able to handle (more on that below regarding timings). I am happy with the upgrade, because of the added speed benefit of dual channel memory and the increased total memory size.
The G.Skill-branded sticker seems to be made from some sort of metal and is very thin, so although it theoretically can work as an added heatsink, the added benefit is probably not anything noteworthy. There are no XMP profiles present; all profiles are JEDEC profiles running at 1.2 V, so the benefit is that they are automatically recognized by all computers and unlike XMP, it does not require the user to manually select the profile. The plastic packaging was very easy to open by hand. According to CPU-Z, my stick had memory chips manufactured by SK Hynix and are single rank.
Although G.Skill does not recommend mixing different RAM sticks, in my case it works fine; maybe because my original RAM was also from SK Hynix. Your mileage may vary.
Extra information regarding how timings are handled when mixing sticks:
This G.Skill RAM has the following JEDEC profiles for 1200 MHz (CL-TRCD-TRP-TRAS): 16-16-16-39, 18-16-16-39 and 19-16-16-39. Not that there is no CL17 profile.
My original RAM ran at 17-17-17-39, so slower than the G.Skill is capable of. Because the G.Skill has no CL17 profile to match, that means it chooses the next best value that is present: a CL18 profile. From there on, the profile of both sticks are compared and the slowest profile is applied to both sticks: the 18-17-17-39 profile (original stick) is chosen over 18-16-16-39 (G.Skill). So even if the G.Skill’s performance is marginally held back by the original RAM, the combination is automatically running with the desired lowest timings based on the JEDEC SPD tables. Of course, in order to get the full potential, it is necessary to buy two sticks with identical speeds and timings.

Enfin, la fiabilité de cette barrette de RAM est impeccable. Elle fonctionne de manière stable et constante, sans aucun plantage ou dysfonctionnement. Je peux compter sur elle pour des performances optimales et une utilisation sans souci.
En conclusion, si tu possèdes une Freebox Delta et que tu souhaites améliorer ses performances, cette barrette de RAM est exactement ce qu’il te faut. Son augmentation de la capacité, son installation facile, sa vitesse impressionnante et sa fiabilité en font un choix parfait. Je la recommande vivement à tous les utilisateurs de Freebox Delta souhaitant optimiser leur expérience.

It’s a really Good RAM. The best part about this RAM is that it is Rx8 RAM, which is the high performing one as compared to Rx16. Plus it has Lifetime Warranty so there’s nothing to worry about. It is working well in my Legion 5

I put this into my Acer Nitro AN515-57, bumping up the total memory to 32GB. The speed dropped from 3200 MHz to 2933 MHz, and it never seems to use the extra 16GB, but I’m still happy I now have a 32GB laptop for only an extra $87.

I have used gskill ripjaw 8gb 3200mhz ram in my hp pavilion 15ec 1024ax (ryzen5 4600h ) and it’s working fine. Using it from 1 month . Helps lot while gaming (fortnite)
