Excellent memory, just buy it if it is what you need!
Longer (mildly educational) review.
As with so many things recently, the memory market is flooded with cheap RAM sticks from brands you have not heard of (nor me and I know my way round IT!) with outstanding reviews and excellent pricing.
Save yourself some money and DO NOT buy those.
The chances of the memory doing what it should, at the speeds it should and without (frequently weird) issues for the foreseeable future, are about the same as winning a sizeable amount on the lottery!
Corsair have been in the computer market for a long time and make some seriously good stuff.
Frequently that stuff is also blinkin’ expensive!
RAM is one of those areas where actually paying a little more over the other stuff is a good idea.
Aside of Corsair, Samsung, Crucial and Kingston are also highly recommended.
Choosing the correct RAM for your computer is not difficult.
I recommend the Crucial system checker. It is a tiny program you download from the Crucial website (perfectly safe) and it will scan your system and tell you what memory you need – while telling you how much it costs from them directly.
I recommend just making a note of the information and searching on Amazon as the prices are generally better.
This particular purchase was for a work colleague’s laptop, which was struggling to be effective with just 8gb RAM.
Now, while you can run Windows 10 with 8gb RAM, it runs a whole lot more smoothly with 16gb.
Don’t even bother trying to run Windows 11 with 8gb unless you want to practice your stress management techniques!
Installation was simple. Most laptops above very basic models, have 2 RAM slots and just one used.
It is almost always found on the underside of the laptop and will simply require undoing 1 or 2 screws to remove the section covering the RAM. If unsure, youtube will be your friend here.
It will only fit 1 way round and just a gentle push should have the clips on each side lock into place.
I should add – please power down your laptop first! 🙂
Once fitted, the laptop immediately detected it and booted up as normal.
Colleague has since commented “it is like having a new laptop where I can do lots of things at once!”

Alten Speicher raus, neuen Speicher rein – sofort erkannt – ohne Probleme.
Zum Produkt selbst, nach ein paar Wochen kann man wenig sagen aber denke Corsair kann Speicher, denke qualitativ wird auch nach längerer Laufzeit nichts zu beanstanden sein.
Leistungsmäßig kann ich bisher wenig feststellen, was aber auch zu erwarten war, da das Notebook ohnehin mit 16 GB RAM (2×8) bestückt war, dennoch wollte ich wissen ob sich speziell bei teilweise großen RAM-Fressern (Firefox und Co.) doch noch was raus holen lässt.
Firefox belegt wenn einige Tabs offen sind teilweise doch einen ganz ordentlichen Batzen RAM, allerdins hatte ich da mit etwas mehr Leistungszuwachs gerechnet aber wer weiß schon was das Programm im Hintergrund noch so alles im Schilde führt, dennoch läuft das Ding gerade wenn viele Tabs und mehrere Sitzungen Firefox und diverse andere Anwendungen laufen doch etwas schneller und stabiler.
Preis- Leistung ist hier bei dem 32GB Kit absolut OK.

i have MSI GF63 and ordered this because i wanted to know how to feels like to have a 16GB ram on my lap, andbi already had an 8 stock ram which is Samsung’s… so 8+16 – 24GB ram, damn, i mean i don’t do anything but play gta v so, yea, i can’t feel that much of a difference but a little when i open some apps, we will see…

Ik heb de 8GB SO-DIMM gekocht als vervanger van de Crucial 8GB. De Crucial werkte niet met mijn systeem en het opstartlampje bleef steeds blauw knipperen (vaak meer dan een half uur). De Crucial teruggestuurd en deze Corsair Vengeance gekocht. Na het plaatsen duurde het opstarten circa 5 minuten maar daarna werkte alles gewoon. Mijn NAS laat de volle 10GB aan geheugen (2GB intern) zien en volgens de broncontrole is mijn ramverbruik bij last verlaagd van ca. 50% naar 10%.
Tot nu toe zeer tevreden over deze aankoop.

Product is fine but It doesn’t feel safe to recieve my product packed like a courier service or a post.No bubble wrap found, No external cardboard box found
