I installed the SSD for my Windows 11 Acer laptop, it is straightforward to install. The speed is around 1100 MB/s only, but my computer works well—no need to upgrade RAM. You can pick this up in an Amazon sale, for below 1000 rupees.

🤩🤩🤩Close your eyes and take it without any hesitation. It’s speed is as advertised. For large single files it’s speed is gr eater tha 350MBPS Read and write. You may feel like it’s speed is slowing down, because you may be copying very much small files like 2-3kb or 2-3mb in a large chunk. In this case it slows down because it needs to read down all small files and paste. Every companies Ssd also slowes down. Previously I was using m.2 ssd of zebronics and it’s been more than 1 year and it’s working really good. No need to take expensive ssd from famous companies. Because zebronics is providing much similar speed. And it’s warranty is 3 years. And yes don’t forget to register for warranty within 15days from buying in zebronics website. It’s having a 477GB storage. Maybe because of pre-installed software.

This was a gamble for me which paid off, while SSD prices have lowered, getting ZEB-SD26 256GB in less than 1000 INR was impressive. I thought SSD might not be up to the mark, but I was pleasantly surprised. See the attached screenshots, that will tell you a lot about performance.
Best part is during copying a large file I got consistent > 400MB/s for the entire duration. (I tested by copying a single 13GB file from my Samsung NVMe SSD to this SSD) This is where DRAM-Less SSDs slow down.
Though it’s not mentioned anywhere I suppose this SSD does not have DRAM or if it’s there it may be very low. Generally, DRAM SSDs are quite costlier than others.
Another thing to note is while Zebronics have specified MTBF on their product page, there’s no info about Endurance in Terabytes Written (TBW). This is an important spec, which is not known for this product. True test for reliability and endurance, only time will tell.
All my past SSDs have been Samsung ones with DRAM, this is first time I am going for a cheap product as my secondary drive for non-critical data storage. I personally would not use it as an OS (System) drive though.
