Purchased for my threadripper pc, to upgrade my old hard drives. After a bit of research, I decided to go with this one, as the speed was high and was priced 70cad less than the same brand that had no fancy LEDs. Not a fan of computer LED lights myself, but it looks cool,, and was easy to install. Used “dd” to migrate the data to this m.2 from my older WD blue. Now my Fedora 32 OS boots in under 10 seconds. Allis my gaming virtual machine to boot in about 8 seconds. Games load fast now!

Prodotto semplicemente meraviglioso e che non può mancare alla vostra Build se mirate, come me, ad essere tamarri senza scordare il senso dello stile. Prestazionalmente è leggermente inferiore ai concorrenti e L’XPG AS40G RGB di ADATA viaggia anche sui 60 euro meno. È innegabile che il prezzo meriterebbe una rivisitazione al ribasso, ma PATRIOT ha giocato la carta dell’aspetto e anche questo conta e paga. Le differenze prestazionali sono comunque minime, e quindi trascurabili, e guardarlo girare a pc acceso, come solitamente fa un gatto davanti all’obló di una lavatrice, aiuta a non pensare troppo ai numeri.
Occhio solo a non muovere troppo la scocca frontale perché a livello adesivo ho riscontrato qualche mancanza e non era fissata proprio benissimo (perlomeno la mia). Basta essere delicati il giusto e non avrete problemi.

As the headline says, it’s beautiful and technically it’s super fast as a M.2 SSD should be, but the dang cover keeps falling off and doesn’t stick very well.
Also, Patriot’s warranty RMA service is horrible when it comes to drives. If you don’t have a backup drive, expect some downtime as you have to send yours in and wait for processing and them to ship a replacement. I decided to just forget the RMA and leave this problem as it is. I can’t justify having my PC down and to receive a used refurbished SSD replacement over something as trivial as the cover…
