I had purchased this for connecting my 4 external hard disc along with my printer.
USB charging is good. But, its not good for data transfer. When I had connected hard discs, first day it is keep on getting disconnected. From second day onwards, multiple ports are not working.
I had used anker powered USB hub (7 port) which I had purchased in 2013 and still working without any surprises. When I am looking for port upgrade, I checked anker. Since its more expensive, I thought of going with QZ. But, it is not supporting even 3 hard disk. Hence, now I am returning the product and going for anker.

Top notch hub. Have approx 30 USB peripherals connected to my PC on 4 of these. This is a powerhouse. The adapter is like a laptop charger and not even once did my PC fail to recognise the USB device. Using these for 6 months. Just get a good surge protector to protect your motherboard and usb peripherals and you are good to go!! The connecting USB B to USB A cable is built like a tank and so is this thing. Seprate indicators for DC supply ON computer data connection ON. This is one peripheral which is an absolutely necessity. Thank you Quantum Zero. You rock!!
