So far it has been stable without any defects. I have no complaints about its durability as it is not abused as much as it should be. This product has the Amazon logo printed on it. There may be a variety of visual preferences, but in the end, this logo is a placebo for quality assurance.

I was sick-n-tired of all the cables connected to my laptop viz. HDMI cable, audio cable, multiple USB devices. I also ran out of available USB ports on my laptop which had only 2 inbuilt USB ports, in one of which I had permanently plugged-in my wireless mouse USB remote connector, which left me with only one free/available USB port. So, every time I needed to connect a USB device I had to pull-out the currently plugged in USB device and plug-in the other USB device, which given the fact that almost all the available tech devices need to be plugged in to a USB port on the laptop, was very inconvenient not to mention bothersome. So I thought I’d give this Amazon Basics Type-C adapter a try, not really sure whether it would work or not, and went ahead and placed the order. Happy to say I made the right decision, it works! Now I have cables of 3 USB devices plugged into the 3 USB ports on the adapter, my external speaker audio cable plugged into the audio jack in the adapter and the Amazon Basics Type-C adapter cable plugged in to my laptop Type-C port and everything works just fine, except for having to plug the hdmi cable from my external monitor directly into my laptop HDMI port as for some reason there is no display (no source input) on the external monitor if I plug in the HDMI cable from the external monitor directly into the Amazon Basics adapter. Now, if I need to carry my laptop and go, all I need to do is to pull out the HDMI cable from my laptop and the Amazon adapter cable from my laptop Type-C port and I’m off! My desk setup also looks much neater instead of having a bunch of cable all over my desk connected to various ports on my laptop. I’m happy I got this device and would definitely recommend it.

I bought this dock under Amazon Deal. Overall its a go-to product which you can look forward for daily multidevice connectivity. I was able to connect my Dell Laptop, iPad Pro, external keyboard, mouse without any issue. Sometimes, the mouse response is delayed, if you are multitasking and the cursor appears to get stuck on the screen for short period of time. I mitigated it by connecting mouse directly with the laptop. Will try to post comprehensive review after I have utilized all the ports

1. Product very good. after 2 HUB returns and searching online for 3 days for a Type C to HDMI this one works perfectly. Will make sure lookout for Amazon certified in future orders. 2. For the prize its very good 3. Not sure if anyone is going to use the card reader in this Age, but i guess its fine. they could have saved space if they had not put the card reader in. Currently it seems a little big but i guess i will get over it.

I have been using this for a few months with my macbook pro 16, This allows me to have a single cable for ethernet, external monitor, and connect my wired keyboard and mouse while charging at 100W via Power Delivery. It does heat up quite a lot but that has not caused any issues so far, This works exactly as advertised.
