This is THE PERFECT dongle for USB-C to HDMI conversion for your iPad or Laptop. I tried this on both and works very well. The most important part is that the HDMI conversion is really perfect and does not create “ghost image” appearance which happens with so many other HDMI adapters or converts, including the one available on many latptops. Highly recommended for HDMI. That the only functionality I have tested so far.

The only con I faced was when connected to my samsung phone. You will not be able to charge the phone while using the external display…

The 2 things which I noticed within 10 days of purchase are: 1. LAN port keeps on disconnecting randomly. My Wifi connection is more stable compared to LAN connection using this product. And I had another similar product from CableCreation which works far better than this one. (I chose to buy this because I had good experience with AmazonBasics products and trusted the brand but this time it was a disappointment) 2. There are 2 USB ports in the adapter. However, only 1 works at a time. Trying to plug in my 2 external hard drives but it only reads one at a time. Tried and tested both the ports, 1 at a time. It works perfectly fine but when attaching 2 things at the same time, only 1 port works. Then what’s the point of having 2 ports, if only one is going to work at a time. And, now that the return window for me closed on 27th October, I cannot even return it. Totally Disappointment!
