I am using it on my BenQ PD2700U. And it is good. But really can’t say that is this really justify the price! End of the day it’s a LED light with a auto brightness adjustment sensor and it cost around 10K. I don’t have any idea how good are the much cheaper alternatives as Baseus or Tukzer. May be they don’t have that sensor. But for the purpose it serves you can definitely go for cheaper alternatives. Now I can feel it would not be an big issue to use this one without that auto adjustment sensor.

My work from home space is fairly lacking in natural light, and the room light is in the centre of the room, which means I am always working in shadow and needed a desk light to ease the pressure on my eyes.
I initially purchased a basic adjustable bar-lamp which clamped onto the desk, but this had several drawbacks, including flicker and screen glare.
I decided to part with 8x the cost of the generic lamp to purchase the BenQ Screenbar and let me tell you, I am glad I did.
Firstly, in typical BenQ fashion it comes very professionally packaged, with high quality box and well seated and shielded components inside.
The mounting bracket is solid and super easy to sling over the top of the monitor, with the suitably solid weight keeping it in place. The USB-A plug has wide compatibility, but the back of the light itself is USB-C so if you have existing USB-C to C cables then you could use this instead.
The light is very sleek and almost invisible when in place. The build quality is exceptional – the smooth metal finish conveys durability and minimalist style.
The top of the bar features 4 touch activated contols – power on/off, auto (ambient light sensor) mode, colour temperature and brightness – but you should only ever need two. Power and Auto.
When you turn this light on you will be amazed. The first thing you will notice is your workspace bathed in a very high quality light. More than enough for any type of task, and definitely good for seeing your keyboard keys in a dark room. What also strikes you is how well the directed light beam works. There is literally ZERO glare on the monitor screen AT ALL. Its almost magic that you can have a brightly lit desk, but without straining your eyes with a light source reflecting at you (or worse pointing in your eyes).
The icing on the cake is that the actual light itself is well shielded from shining directly at your eyes too – when you have your monitor at the correct height, then you cannot directly see the light source at all.
The auto setting works flawlessly to provide the exact right amount of light.
Bottom line is, yes – this is an expensive monitor light, but it is the best you will find for eye-comfort and functionality.

So you can see I have a two monitor setup. Initially I thought of buying 2 of these bars, but just for trial got one.
Pros:
1. It’s sleek and won’t get in your way.
2. The light is ample and pretty much lights up your desk.
3. Light is adjustable from warm white to white. You can use warm white for reading.
4. No reflection on the monitor.
5. Your eyes will thank you.
Cons:
1. A bit costly, as there’s another one Baesus which is almost 1/3rd the price, but I’m not sure about the quality.
2. If you have a dual monitor setup, you might need two of these, but that depends. I use a lamp behind the monitors to illuminate that area.

But expensive, but I must say this has reduced strain in my eyes and definitely improved my productivity.

This is an excellent device. It has zero glare on screen, different shades of white and lights up my keyboard right where I want the light. Not cheap but you really do get the quality you pay for. It has a regular USB “C” connector so there are no special cables. I would (and did) buy again.

Have had this light bar for over a year and a half and love it as much as the first day! Have had no problems with it at all. Will not fall off the screen. I have pictured the Brightest, Yellow, and White settings.

I was very apprehensive to throw this much money toward something seemingly as simple as a screen bar, but I’m so glad that I did! The build quality is amazing, it sits very well on my monitor, and the smart setting is the only thing that I use to get the perfect lighting on my desk. The angle of light that it casts onto the desk ensures that my entire workspace is lit while also not casting light onto my monitor. Would definitely buy again.

Very useful for people using screens for a prolonged periods.

I wanted to add ambient light to my desk setup(the only hobby left all thanks to covid) which has the following characteristics:
1. Help my eyes while I am staring at the screen for long hours.
2. Won’t take space on my desk.
3. Wiring should not be visible.
4. Should be Fancy AF.
This product just excels in that. It is very pleasing to look at and provides great lighting on the desk. Thanks to the high CRI, it also helps if you put stuff and photgraphs on your desk. It is an integral part of my desk. Although, if the Mi screen bar is launched, then I believe I would prefer that(Since that thing is cheaper). Other than the MI one, I do not believe the product could touch it. I didn’t buy the bigger brother (The plus model) because the rotary dials had wires(See, no wire rule). A wireless rotary dial would be the only area they could improve in.

Always wanted this, i do have a nice lamp but this is better. It only lights what i want to be lit. Good build quality and sits perfectly on top of my 43 inch monitor. Since i have connected it to the usb on the back of the monitor it starts up anytime I switch on the monitor which is kind of cool.
Can i live without it? Sure. Would i want to? Probaby not. 10k isn’t a lot for me but i can imagine it is for a lot of people so it’s a choice.

Great fit and balance even on my monitor with a curved back panel. Lighting is nice and even. Lamp is sturdy and easy to use.
