Used with the JBL software these headphones are adequate, bordering on good. The microphone quality is horrible. I bought these headphones for gaming and I am always with my team and there has always been the issue of, OMG you are too loud and full of static!, or I can’t hear you and you are full of static. Adjusting the slider either doesn’t work or is so sensitive that people cannot hear me at 4 or blasting their ears at 5. And there are 30 more notches I could go. Or can’t hear you at 20 and too loud at 15. Unfortunately I didn’t decide soon enough to return these at the 30 day mark because the last couple months I have been playing with team mates sitting next to me so microphones were unnecessary. Now, it is critical.
So beware, find out before the 30 expiration date if your headphones are actually what you will be happy with. I disconnected mine, grabbed a cheap pair and they work just fine.
I just wish I could exchange these or get a refund or at least an apology for a bad item quality.

It’s a good headset I used it to play a couple of games and they worked very fine for those surround sound is not my cup of tea. What grinds my gears and made me give this headset or well any JBL quantum product a 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because of the damn drivers. The drivers make the headset not work sometimes which is extremely annoying. A fix to that is to delete the driver once your PC detects it and you are good to go. Haven’t had a problem since. Also, this headset has a built-in sleep mode which makes the headset take a second of delay to turn on if it’s not playing anything. Don’t worry in-game you won’t find this issue at all just while consuming media. Basically, for the price it’s great but I highly suggest that you take a look at the hyper x headset too. It is in a similar price range and doesn’t have this many issues.

I purchased this product is Amazon prime sale for 1999INR. (Note: This product is non-returnable)
Pros:
Braided cable.
Lightweight design.
Good cushion for long time use.
Decent bass and clear vocals.
3.5 mm to usb provided with headphones.
Surround sound works just fine.
Cons:
Overall build quality is not good and does not feel this coming from a brand like JBL and feels fragile.
No matter we use system or jbl software but the volume is not that high even at 100% and do not expect tight bass. It’s okay Bass and clear vocals.
This is okay headphones for someone looking for ear comfort, but would suggest look for other options.

O som desse fone é impecável, e se você não gostar de alguém aspecto o equalizador da jbl é bem útil e funcional, só o surround 7.1 por ser virtual é uma porcaria e só atrapalha, mas isso é de se esperar de qualquer fone “”gamer”” e a função só existe pra chamar atenção. Enfim o problema real é o microfone que capta o audio do próprio fone e causa um vazamento de terrível, no discord isso da pra reduzir um pouco com o cancelamento de ruído mas em lugares sem essa opção fica bem complicado.

Got it on 14-Jun-2023 and see how it look likes in 4 months. Please understand that I don’t use this regularly and only used for calls.
The foam cover started to peel off from the first week itself. When I checked, I understood that it is a common issue with it and it is not covered under the warranty. So I decided to live with it. So you better double check it.
But now, the mic is broken. See the photos attached, I am not satisfied with the product quality and I never expected this from a brand like JBL. I’ve contacted the customer support over email and phone, they are telling that they provide warranty on physical damage. to turn on/off mic we need to move mic, and now it’s broken, To adjust the mic to our mouse, we should be able to bend the mic. That’s one of it’s feature and now they are telling that if it broken, it’s done 🙂 How crazy they are. I already escalated the issue and waiting for next response.

My review after using it 12 days.
First of all the surround sound works amazingly and if you are a pubg lover and definetly it gonna help you. You can track enemies footstep and lock there location and believe me it will improve your game. But but… Here is a catch – The surround effect not gonna work on mobile and yeah the sound level also decreased drastically. But there is a solution too.
Just on your phone’s bluetooth and connect it with your pc/laptop and then connect your jbl headphone through usb cable to pc and run the jbl quantum software. Everything gonna work on mobile as well now. No latency issues. So now you have a cheap classic headphone for your mobile too.
Coming to headphone quality… Sound on pc is incredible. You will feel that you are in theater. The bass is also good. If you are using it on high sound level then you will feel little vibration as well on fighting sequence.
The wearing comfort is top notch. You are not gonna feel any discomfort. Little bit hot after using long time but it will not bother you much.
Now try the trick I suggest for mobile and if it gonna work thanks me later.

Ótimo produto! A qualidade do áudio sai limpa. Abafa ruídos durante as gravações externas, então vc consegue conferir o áudio captado pelo mic no momento em que grava, mesmo se tiver barulho externo. No começo tive um pouco de receio com edições pq o fone já dá um “tapa” no áudio que sai mesmo sem vc fazer edições no material bruto. Mas tem corrido tudo bem e as edições de áudio fluem tranquilamente, inclusive vc escuta bem quando trabalha com filtros mais sutis. Dá pra usar os fones por uma ou duas horas de modo confortavel, depois disso começa a esquentar as orelhas e incomoda um pouco. Bom isolante de som. Reduz o barulho de pessoas conversando a sua volta e ruídos diversos. Precisa retirar para conversar com outra pessoa próxima. Ajuda na concentração. Ótimo para quem estar iniciando no audiovisual. Ótimo para que o cliente ou modelo possa ouvir seu áudio no local da gravação, tanto em qualidade sonora quanto no aspecto do produto. O microfone também é muito bom. O adaptador usb foi fundamental para minha escolha, por conta da estrutura do meu desktop. No entanto, já utilizei a entrada p2 em diversas câmeras e tudo certo. Sou professora de fotografia e vídeo e já usei para diversos trabalhos externos e para reuniões online. Garanto que vc vai estar acima da média dos produtos dessa categoria.
