The G502X carries over most of the amazing features of the G502, like the size, form factor, multiple easy-to-use buttons, and adds some much needed improvements.
The primary point of failure on the older mice (double click due to switch degradation) has been fixed with the new opto-mechanical switches. The HERO sensor is accurate as usual, and the buttons are better in terms of click feel.
While they have made the side buttons a bit smaller, I appreciate the addition of the switchable DPI switch button, which I personally have never used.
Also, as mentioned in the other reviews, the wired version does not come with lightsync RGB. This is not a big deal for me, as I have my hand on the mouse and cannot see the light while I am using it. All other added features to this updated best mouse are very appreciated.
Most of all, the biggest change in this mouse is the reduced weight. Coming from a stock G502 (without added weights), the lighter weight (89g) and the new PTFE skates vastly improve the gaming experience. I have been getting easier flick shots with this mouse ever since my purchase.
Overall, I would give this a 4.5/5. I am inherently biased towards this mouse model, as it has been my go-to for the past 4 years (I have replaced 2 G502s). The G502x is a worthwhile upgrade, just wait for the cost to go down to ₹6500 or below (Logitech approved price).

Upgraded to this from the G402. The grip style is identical to the G402 with the buttons more easily accessible on this one. My hand rests perfectly on it and is very comfortable for long hours of use. I use it for productivity (work) and occasional gaming.
The Logitech G-Hub software has improved a lot since it first launched and allows a lot of customization in lighting and keybinds for games and software.
Note that the mouse is not detected by the older Logitech Gaming Software so you have to move existing profiles to G-Hub. It’s worth the initial effort though and works smoothly afterwards.
Battery life is great and I only charge it every two weeks or so. Charges really quickly too.
There’s a slot to store the dongle while traveling which is nice.
Powerplay puck is not included, it’s just a plastic cap that’s magnetically attached to the bottom of the mouse. You have to swap out your existing powerplay puck if you want that feature.
Finally, the white mouse looks much nicer than the black one. I bought black first and replaced with white because it looked boring.

As an owner of an original G502 for 7 years, the G502 X is a welcome improvement.
Trigger button is now much more accessible as it’s moved back towards thumb position slightly. Ideally Logitech would provide multiple buttons of different lengths to accomodate different hand sizes. The split between DPI buttons (G7, G8) is further back, making G7 more accessible without having to lift index finger. Top button (G9) is now elevated slightly, making this much easier to select simply by pushing down the finger that’s resting on right button/scroll wheel.
L/R buttons do have slightly more pre-travel than original G502, but not enough for me to notice when using the mouse. Hopefully the new opto-mechanical switches will prove more reliable than the more recent Omrom switch that have plagued Logitech mice of late (double click issues)
Weight is substantially reduced compared to original G502 and mouse tracking on the G502 X is flawless. G HUB application interface is obtuse and far more difficult than it needs to be to achieve a desired outcome, but this is par for the course for peripheral manufacturers.
The original G502 cable hardened over time, though this never caused me any issues in operating the mouse. It remains to be seen how durable the new plastic cable will be.
The mouse functions flawlessly with a USB switch as did the original G502 (A recent Razer model would produce “Device not recognized” errors when switching between computers)
Hopefully this will be my daily-driver mouse for the next 7+ years as my original G502 was.

This is an excellent mouse with great feel and good hand grip texture. It is a great choice for multitasking and gaming. If you are looking to play only fps games like valorant or cs:go, this mouse might seem an overkill with all the buttons but for other storymode type games with multiple control all around the keyboard, this mouse is a great choice.
Only thing is that, the wire is too thin and it feels like it could break or snap out of the mouse arlt any second. Logitech could have gone for a better quality wire.
Over all, great mouse, great features and highly recommend it.

perfect for competitive games, this is a wired and smooth for PVP games, it has no light but too fast I can customize it by application easily.

i bought this to replace my OLD G70, and honestly not getting a replacement 703 was probably a mistake.
The LED fade line feels uncomfortable in the hand (kinda pinchy) and all the buttons feel kinda the same, if playing for an extended amount of time all the button caps start to feel noticably uncomfortable in the hand, the mouse is also missing features that other cheaper models have, namely the 10 gram wieght. i pinched one from the old G703 i have there is also nowhere internally to store the alternative button cap meaning you better put it somewhere safe or lose it.
i doubt they will ever read this but the engineering team should take notes and the main ergonomic designer should be sent to a nursing home, it’s an extremely uncomfortable mouse to use for an extended gaming session and the pinchy LED strip doesn’t justify the price or the lack of features that other models have
USB C is a silver lining though,
If they wanted to make a better version my advice would be the following
a cavity with magnet to store the alternate button cap,
– actually including weights with the flagship mouse
– making the LED strip smoothed and in line with the rest of the top of the mouse.
– smoothing all the extra buttons on the mouse
– actually getting someone at the company to try using it for a month before shipping
for the $200 i payed i regret buying this clunky un-ergonomic showpiece it feels like it was designed by a 4 year old who was trying to draw a fighter jet with crayons, i think i actually game worse with it, USB C is nice though.

Ok ok…….mouse click up feels the click bumppy that disbalance your aim….. Supports only new logitech ghub….not supported old logitech gaming software(that was a gem) new logitech ghub is messy…crashes lot….sometime not opening…bla bla bla….built quality fine….mouse wire is normal rubber wire…. no brided cable given such a premium mouse….infinit scroll was best in g502 hero….idnt like this plastic light weight wheel…. pointer accuracy is poor compare to razer optical mouses..in velorant, csgo i noticed big difference in this mouse and razer mouse….useful for those who want more programmable switches…… In price point 7k+ is over priced…better option is g502 hero which is around 4k+

Side button should be more small and not bumpy.I accidentally click these button many times and size should be little more small in height and its side thumb support is not at all useful instead they should put wrist support for mouse.
Although mouse is great ergonomically.

Upgraded from Proteus core where I had double clicking issues. This mouse also has double clicking issues but they presented within the first week whereas with the Proteus core it took a few years. Scroll wheel is better. Mouse is too light for my liking. Sniper button is dumb. Dpi switching buttons are dumb.

I can not recommend this product enough ! Absolutely quality and beautiful to use for both gaming and desktop.
