Zowie have been the king of shapes for a while, this mouse is no exception for claw grip users. The shape is extremely comfortable, and offers the best build quality that I’ve ever seen in a mouse. You could throw this mouse at the wall and the wall would break (don’t try this).
The coating is great, feels amazing and overall provides enough grip during usage.
Where this mouse falls a little bit is with weight, cable and scroll wheel. The weight is around 85g with the cable, this is usually too high for people these days, as we have mice that are under 65g that overall offer more than the S2.
For a stock cable, this thing is terrible. It’s so tough that you could use it as a whip and it’s just stiff and not a cable you would expect on a 70 dollar mouse in 2020. The scroll wheel is the cherry on top, however. It is loud, has only 16 steps and makes a noise that makes your ears wanna drop off. There are so many better wheels and regardless of years of complaints regarding their scroll wheel, they continue to use it.
Other pros include the mouse feet. They may be teflon and only .45mm, while most ptfe feet are .8mm, but they are god damn smooth and there is no scratching, which surprised me most about such thin feet. I have hyperglides on my copy and honestly it wasn’t worth it, as the stock feet are great.
Last thing that puts this mouse down is the price. You’re paying 70 dollars for a mouse that can only really offer it’s great shape. Other than that, Zowie are generally stuck in 2016 with their awful cables, scroll wheels and high weights for today’s standards. I’d look for other options, however if you’re certain this shape suits you, and you don’t mind spending extra for a paracord and aftermarket mouse feet, spending an additional 25 dollars, then it may be the mouse for you.

I bought this mouse as a replacement for my ZA12. I already used a fingertip grip style, so the transition was fairly easy. I did need to change my grip to curl my pinky and ring fingers, as apposed to having them straight up the side of the mouse like on the ZA12. This was a necessary change as it doesn’t have the aggressive lips and the front sides of the mouse, and so needed a more stable grip. This also allows a more free movement up and down, and more precise aim adjustments with the fingers only.
A size comparison with the ZA12, it’s a bit smaller in length, a bit wider in width, and shallower in height of the bump over the top, and your fingers will rest further from the mousepad as the buttons are higher. It is more flat overall.
Using the mouse in this way, it feels perfect. It has a very nice matte finish, I have had no issues with tracking after lifting the mouse, no spin outs at all, functionally it is perfect also.
The mouse wheel isn’t great, but won’t get caught inbetween steps. It is loud, and doesn’t feel nice, and doesn’t have as many steps as wheels from other mice. I don’t really think it is acceptable at this price point, but everything else about the mouse help me to ignore my gripes with the wheel.
A mouse is very much personal preference these days, they all function very similarly in-game. It’s about how the clicks feel, the shape, the slide across the pad. For myself, this mouse is great. Anyone considering purchasing a more expensive mouse or wanting to get better at aiming in any game should check out RocketJumpNinja on YouTube, who has in depth reviews of most competitive mice and has a website for finding mice suitable for your hand.
Be prepared to change your grip, it may be strange at first but a fingertip grip with as little of your hand touching the mouse is best to learn for the future. And stop playing with such high sensitivity.

Beast, perfect mhz, best dpi adjustments
Best in high midrange best under 10k i guess,
If youre a claw grip or even a palm grip player, go for it. Best click sound. Response timing is out of the box. Just only one complaint i didn’t received cable sorter in my courier yet still displayed and mentioned dk why. But seller is good too.👍🏻
