I had to make a snap decision going from an old gaming laptop to a full PC. While I do game a bit, I also used the same laptop for university and large writing projects, so getting the right keyboard (and in a hurry, as my laptop died in the middle of assignment time) was super important. Got the Black Widow with yellow switches and I’m glad I took the time to read about the differences and accepted the price increase from the green ones. Really comfortable to type on, not too loud and super sensitive for pumping out all those speedy words. Haven’t had too much gaming time with it yet, but I’m positive that it will be great. The insane lighting customization is just mindblowing as well, and lots of fun to fiddle with 🙂

I do like the features of this keyboard and extremely comfortable to use. The only cons would be that it is not as quiet as expected from reviews and also the wrist wrest moves around too much and doesn’t attach.

This one’s my first mechanical keyboard.. used it for 2 days.. It was okayish … Build quality… didn’t seem to be good enough…It wasn’t justifying it price of 12k.

This is my first time to try a yellow-switch gaming keyboard, and I am glad that I didn’t make a wrong decision. After almost 2 years of usage this keyboard is still so comfort to type and press, like a softy cushion which defintely beat-up my previous Crosair and Logitech keyboard.
Lighting 10/10, the Razor chroma support the Wallpaper Engine and lots of games lighting effect, which is a huge plus for me, turns my gaming life a lot more fun and colorful.
Comfort 10/10, even after 2 years of use, the key is still so comfort and soft-cushion feeling to press, someone may prefer a tactile feeling though so not suitable for everyone be careful with that. But if you are used to Red switch before than you would like this yellow switch for sure.
Features : 8/10, there is a volume roll, with media play/pause button. Not as fancy as the latest premium keyboard but is good enough for me.
Software: 8/10, the Razer Synapse is okay pretty easy to use, as I am a semi Razer fan-boy using Razer mouse as well so I find it is conveninent to put everything into one software.
