Amit Garai –
I had a cheaper Razer model a couple of years ago – the Cynosa – from which I learned that Razer have the best RGB lighting that nobody else can match, although thats as much down to customers designing and sharing their own creations as anything else.
The negative was that many of the letters rubbed off in no time, and then a minor drinks spillage – something which the model was supposed to be invulnerable to rendered a whole vertical line of keys 6-Y-H-N dead. From which I learned what a Razer “2-year limited warranty” really means – basically that anything likely to go wrong with the machine isnt covered and you should have taken out their extra insurance that nobody told you that you needed! Thanks Razer!
So NIL points for Razer customer services, that seems to be set up in that classic modern way that will get you to take any action except phone them up, which is only permissible it seems ifyour having a genuine emergency, such as your keyboard has set your house on fire, and even then “shouldnt you be calling the fire brigade first?” So its “see our FAQs”, “try our user forum for answers”.. “read our manuals again”… “did we mention our FAQs, take another look you might have missed something”.. “you want to phone us?? ok head into this word maze and see if you can find our number hidden in there, after all you like a challenge dont you?… “did we say phone number, we meant email address”… its a nightmare, and clearly designed to prevent you interrupting their busy days. NIL points again.
SO anyway I despite al;l the shabby customer service I still wanted a Razer RGB set up so I got this “used” keyboard i.e. a customer return that appeared ok at first, and most importantly this has the more expensive double-caps which shouldnt rub off in a few months.
The green switches seem to be good – noisy but I mis-type key far less often than I usually do.
What I hadnt realized until I got it delivered was that it was another US-layout keyboard – not a problem in itself, my previous keyboard was the same, there was no UK version of it. But there is a Uk version of this, and I’d thought thats what i was getting… but .. nevermind it didnt matter because I was now pretty used to a US layout.
But I was wrong- because this keyboard kept changing its mind from minute to minute about whether it was a UK or US layout – so I never knew where for example @ would be from one moment to the next. Which is pretty annoying if its a digit in most of your passwords.
Yes I tried to change the settings to prevent it but nothing righted it. And then disaster struck, the “-” key stopped working, and that was the last straw.. I had to send it back, and luckily enough found the same beast with a UK-layout… and so far.. so good.

Key board lights up well so I don’t require desk lamp while typing, with a good mechanical feedback to my old fingers.

The RGB works great and the feeling of the keys is lovely too. The wrist rest is good so that your wrists are not at an angle. Make sure you also have the tools to clean it! I’ve had this keyboard for over a year now and it is still working great.

Cliente Amazon –
Comprato a 48€ (ottimi condizioni), arrivata perfetta priprio come nuova.
