I was looking for a wireless gamepad that charges via USB – C and connect easily with devices and also have the same functionality of An Xbox controller. This gamepad does all of that and is a 7/10 experience.
Pros:-
It is USB-C. Now a days everything comes with USB-c its quite common, but in this range other gamepad controllers were not offering USB-C charging.
Good Controlls. The Controls are great. Accuracy wise its 8/10.
Battery Life. For me battery life was more than enough as i don’t use it often. But the great part of this controller is you can use it while charging. However that is more of a con as you pay to use a wireless experience. But still. I see it from a more positive POV.
Cons:
I tried it on every possible device and it worked with all except my phone. I connected it to Laptop and Smart TV. And it connected successfully. But it doesn’t respond with my phone. I don’t know why. Maybe my phone doesn’t support it or it doesn’t support phones.
Conclusion:
You can buy it definitely but i will suggest not to buy it if you are not going to use it regular. As it will be a waste of money.
If you are into PC gaming then you should buy a gaming keyboard. But if you want to feel like console you should definitely buy it.

I’m coming from a cosmicbyte interstellar controller, i play a lot of Ride 4 (motorcycle racing game) and instantly i knew the evofox is a far better controller. Ride 4 needs a lot of precise throttle control with the right trigger and the cosmicbyte did not have a good analog trigger. But this evofox has such qood triggers and sticks that my whole gaming experience has changed.
The NOT so good parts of the evofox elite x are built quality. The whole controller shell creaks while using it. Its not solidly made, even tho the materials are decent. The left vibration motor isn’t working in games that i tried even tho both motors spins when turning on the controller(software issue?) but thats ok for me. And the led indication lights are too bright for night time gaming.
But i will recommend this evofox elite x for its feature rich gaming experience.

I was a bit skeptic about how it would perform but the reviews were great. I am getting another one because it’s worth the price and fit for my casual gaming needs.
My observations :-
Pros –
1. The dongle I got was a tiny one. Similar to mouse dongles.
2. There is no drift at all and the buttons feel solid. (Not the RT or LT however).
3. No lag/latency.
4. Connects without any hassle.
5. Battery life is good. Lasted well over 7 hours of mixed gaming.
6. Has USB Type C and a “charging cable” (not a data cable) is already in the box.
7. You can plug it in the charger and play (you do need the dongle connected however).
8. Different sets of indicator leds flash when you use it on Android or PC.
Cons –
1. LT & RT triggers are quite wobbly.
2. RT Trigger started engaging on its own. Had to open it up and apply some lube.
3. Turbo does not work for me on Android.
4. It often gets disconnected when the dongle is put in a USB 3.0 port.
5. It also gets disconnected when a mouse dongle is plugged in on the same or on a different PC. It gets disturbed if another dongle is plugged in its vicinity.
6. Takes quite a while to charge up.
7. Would have been nice to get a spare dongle (Don’t mind paying extra or maybe as a spare part would do).

I bought this controller in May of 2023 and I am writing this review in July 2023.
I bought the PC version of this controller which comes with a 2.4Ghz connectivity USB, I had my doubts before buying this as most reviews on other 2.4 Ghz controller point out a connectivity issues, fortunately I haven’t encountered any connectivity issues with this. The controller itself has a great in hand feel to it, it looks good, it’s vibration motors are great, it’s battery backup is amazing. A issue I had with other cheaper controllers is the analog grip, needless to say this controller has some great analog grip so your fingers don’t slip off them. I have yet to encounter any performance issue as this has a low latency so even while playing FIFA I am never dissatisfied. A small con is that the programmable buttons don’t save the button combination you program into it but I don’t require them so it is of no consequence to me. One issue I did face is sometimes by which I mean quite rarely (happened to me I think 3-5 times in 2 and a half months) this controller would turn off randomly which could be a low battery issue as I have long gaming sessions on weekends, it turns back on instantly with the power button but it could be in a critical situation which holds back it’s rating for me. Overall I am satisfied with this as it is a durable controller that can handle long gaming sessions unless you’re using this to control a submarine, I would say go for it.
TL;DR
Pros :
consistent
good battery backup
no connectivity issues
low latency
durable
Cons:
the programmable buttons don’t save the settings so you have to re program them every time.
turn off randomly mid game rarely which may or may not happen because of low battery ( twice a month for me :p)
overall a 3.8/5 possibly a 4/5.
