O monitor é bom e fácil de usar, o suporte do monitor também é impecável, no entanto a tecnologia “BRIGHTNESS INTELLIGENCE” deixa-me enjoado e por isso tive que desativar. Para minha surpresa veio com o cabo hdmi e um usb-c.

The product was in a good condition when recieved. Display has no dead pixels and works fine without any issues. Installation was easy. Colours are good, I’m a developer, I just code, watch movies and play some casual games on it. Serves my purpose well. I connect my PC (DP port), Fire TV stick (HDMI) and laptop (USB type C port). Everything works fine. But switching between these devices are a pain, as there is no remote control for the display.
In-built mic is of good quality. The menu management could have been better. Also the menu buttons aren’t that responsive.
If you’re a power user, please get some display with remote control. Otherwise the product is great.

I’m a big fan of benq monitors from very long time.
Earlier i was using dual monitor setup from benq (1. 4K 27” EL2870U ) (2. FHD 23 ” GW2470HL) in my home and in office i have FHD 27″ GW2780T
This model (GW2790QT) has been recently launched & has coding mode which is really good when you are having editors like VS code or Xcode etc and dark mode and it supports power delivery via type-C cable.
So single cable now does Screen Mirroring and Charging your laptop which helps to reduce clutters on the desk and smooth cable managements.
Even it has daisy chain option.
So go for it without a second thought if you are really spending more hours infront of the Monitors

I’ve been using this monitor as a designer and I used the desktop version of Figma. I noticed that when I have the canvas zoomed out (below 100%) the text and stroke lines are blurred. I played with changed the settings using many different combinations and nothing seems to make it better. It’s quite bad to be honest. The only way to see it without the blur is by always keeping the Figma canvas on 100% (original size).
Might be something to consider if you’re a designer considering to buy this monitor.
Also, the eye care settings have similar if not the same effect as the Macbook night shift feature where you can configure the screen to use warmer colours.
So if you’re a designer and use a Macbook I see no reason to buy this monitor.

1. It has different modes to choose from like paper reading mode, low blue light plus, coding mode. I felt no strain on eyes while using low blue light plus mode compared to normal laptop screen
2. the coding mode is great, contrast of code from background is great
3. height adjustability is seamingly simple
4. there is absoluetly no lag from from laptop to monitor.
5. in e paper mode screen becomes black and white, you can read a book or artical for hours with out your eyes getting strained

1. when i tilt the monitor horizontally it is not working, I personally dont prefer monitor horizontally so its not a big issue for me.
2. adaptor is too big it wont fit in indian household plugs you need to buy conversion plug seperately.
finally i am satisfied with this purchase

The Product is really good for programmers
Pros
1. Brightness is very good. I mostly keep it at 0 which is still bright for me. (I wish we could lower brightness a little more.
2. Display is excelent. Not as good as mac but one of the best I have seen in this price.
3. No backlight bleed
4.Microphone is good.
5. Coding mode as you can see in pictures makes a huge difference.
Cons
1. Speakers not loud at all (Barely audible even with fan off.
2. 16A power cord shipped may not work for everyone. You can use old monitor wire or ask support to send a smaller one.

Update 7 Sept 2023-
Post the repair of my Macbook I have been using this Monitor and it has not caused any issues for me. As I mentioned before, I really love this monitor and would recommend people buy it. Especially for the USB-C hub feature. The only cable that goes into my laptop is the USB-C, everything else is connected to the monitor as it acts as a hub.
The aesthetics of it also very Apple like, which I am fan of.
UPDATE : I got my Macbook Pro repaired and been testing it again with the monitor.
I have this monitor for a week now and was very happy with it initially as shown in the picture.
BUT, two days ago I woke up to a dead MacBook A2141, it’s the 16″ 2019 Intel model which has a 96w charging brick. My Mac was connected to the monitor all night and was totally unresponsive in the morning. The service center said the USB-C ICs are blown which has blown the main IC too.
So MacBook pro 16″ A2141 users please keep this in mind. I talking to Benq to see if my unit is damaged or its an issue with 96watts.

L’ho installato in 10 minuti tra una riunione e l’altra.
è estremamente conveniente facile da installare, letteralmente basta collegare i 2 (DUE!!!) cavi e togliere tutti gli altri cavi del laptop! è perfetto se avete una scrivania poco spaziosa come la mia: giusta dimensione visto che non posso allontanarlo troppo, 1 solo cavo nella presa e 1 sulla scivania, e anche la base non è assolutamente ingombrante inoltre è piana quindi potete sfruttare anche quello spazio.
unica pecca (ma anche questo lo sapevo già dalla descrizione): i comandi per i setting sono un pò complicati da navigare.

I used for my macbook m1 air 2020 for few months using usb c cable to mirror my laptop as well as charge it. Now that port is unusable and ordered replacement with apple. Please check wattage and use accordingly. This monitor is not suitable for macbook m1 air 2020 if you also use for charging. Works good now with HDMI for mirroring without charging laptop.
